Veteran actor, Neetu Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor's son, Ranbir Kapoor became a father as his wife, Alia Bhatt gave birth to their first child. For the unversed, Ranbir and Alia were blessed with a daughter on November 6, 2022, bringing immense happiness into the Kapoor-Bhatt clan. Since then, their fans are curious to find out the name of Alia and Ranbir's princess, and they are eagerly waiting to see her first glimpse.
On November 15, 2022, Alia Bhatt had shared her first-ever picture after giving birth to her baby girl on her IG handle. In the priceless picture, the new mommy could be seen flaunting an orange-hued cup with 'Mama' written on it. However, we could only see a glimpse of Alia, sitting on a chair in the backdrop. A report in BollywoodLife stated that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have decided to keep their daughter's name with a connection to the former's father, late Rishi Kapoor, as a tribute to the veteran actor. A source close to the couple revealed that the newbie dadi, Neetu Kapoor loved the idea so much that she turned emotional, and now, she is impatiently waiting to announce her granddaughter's name to the world.
The source mentioned that Alia and Ranbir are not keen to follow the trend and keep their baby's name with an amalgamation of their names. The report further added that the new parents, Ranbir and Alia, along with the entire Kapoor-Bhatt family have finally shortlisted one name for their little bundle of joy. Moreover, to their fans' delight, the couple will soon reveal their princess' name to the world.
Earlier, a report in Bollywood Hungama stated that the entire Kapoor-Bhatt clan doesn't want the pictures of Alia and Ranbir's newborn baby to be out in public. Moreover, the couple has a 'No picture policy' for their baby girl, and they don't want her to get clicked in public by shutterbugs. Alia and Ranbir haven't even allowed their close friends to click a picture of the baby, fearing that it might get leaked. Meanwhile, the couple is expecting their fans to respect their decision.
