One of the most sought-after actors, Sanjay Dutt is quite active on social media and often takes a trip down memory lane to post unseen glimpses of his star parents, Sunil Dutt and Nargis. On Sunil Dutt’s birth anniversary, Sanjay posted some unseen pictures of his superstar dad and remembered him.
Taking to his IG handle, Sanjay Dutt dropped a collage with some unseen pictures of Sunil Dutt. Along with the pictures, the doting son wrote, “I love and miss you so much Dad. Happy birthday! Love you, Dad.” On Sanjay’s post, his darling daughter, Trishala commented:
“Happy Birthday DadaJi.”

Trishala Dutt is Sanjay Dutt’s daughter from his first marriage to Richa Sharma. And like any granddaughter, Trishala too shared a warm bond with her dadaji, Sunil Dutt. Some time back, Trishala posted a throwback picture with Sunil Dutt, in which the doting daadu was seen carrying his poti in his arms. Along with the picture, Trishala penned, “#priceless Dadaji” followed by a heart emoticon.
The late legendary actor, Sunil Dutt was born on June 6, 1929, and inspired many generations with his ideologies towards life. After working as a Radio Jockey in Radio Ceylon, Sunil Dutt began his acting journey with Ramesh Saigal in his debut film, Railway Platform. On the personal front, Sunil Dutt was married to one of the most stunning actresses of her generation, the late Nargis Dutt. The much-in-love couple welcomed three adorable kids, Sanjay Dutt, Namrata Dutt and Priya Dutt, into their happy married life.

Sanjay Dutt considered his father, Sunil Dutt as his idol. Sanjay had once recalled getting thrashed by his dad, and the reason behind it was his habit of smoking. According to Sanju, it had so happened that he was once smoking secretly inside his room, and his father, Dutt sahab had entered the room out of nowhere. And after learning of Sanju's habit of smoking, he had beaten him with his shoes!
In a 2018 interview with the IANS, Sanjay credited his father for everything that he is today and was quoted as saying:
"Whatever I am today is because of my father. He is my inspiration and I miss him every day. I did not always share an easy relationship with him. But he always stood by me. I wish he was here to see me as a free man and the beautiful family that I have today. He would have been proud."
Sunil Dutt is remembered every day for his unparallel love for his family!
