Triptii Dimri is one such actress at the moment in Bollywood, who is riding high on success. After making some stellar performances in films like Bulbbul and Qala, she shot up to the title of national crush with her gorgeous looks and impeccable stint in the film, Animal. Among other tenets of her performance in the film, it was her sizzling chemistry with the protagonist, Ranbir Kapoor that won several hearts. And recently, Triptii made some startling revelations about the film itself.
Triptii Dimri recently turned cover girl for the latest issue of the Vogue India's magazine, during which she made some candid revelations about her professional and personal life. The actress opened up about her parents’ reaction upon watching her intimate scenes with her co-star, Ranbir Kapoor in the much-talked about film, Animal, that caused quite a stir amid the cinephiles. She remarked that her parents were initially rattled, and were only convinced after a long conversation. In her words:
“My parents were completely rattled when they saw it. We had to have a long discussion on why that scene was crucial.”

Yet in another interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Triptii Dimri revealed that her parents were taken aback when they saw their daughter pull off intimate scenes on the celluloid. She added that while her parents didn’t object much, nevertheless they harboured apprehensions about her doing such scenes, which were to some extent inappropriate. Adding how she had to convince them that it was part of her job and nothing more, Triptii said:
“My parents got a little taken aback. (They said) we have never seen something like this in films and you have done it. It took them time to get over that scene. They were very sweet to me though. They were like, you shouldn’t have done that but it’s okay. As parents, we will obviously feel this. I told them I am not doing anything wrong. It’s my job and as long as I am comfortable and safe, I don’t see any problem in that. I am an actor and I have to be 100 percent honest with the character that I play and I did that.”
Well, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, Animal was no less than a turning point in Triptii Dimri’s career, as it simply cemented her name to incomparable stardom and fame. Previously, in an interview with News18, the diva talked about soaking in all the love and appreciation over her performance in the film. She remarked that it was an overwhelming feeling, and added that she never thought to get such massive response over her small role in the film.

In the same interview, she also talked about the massive increase of followers that she witnessed, especially after the humongous response her film, Animal received. She wittily responded that her friends and family members have been keeping a track of her follower count, and summed it to be a wonderful feeling. In her words:
“My friends and family are keeping track of my follower count. They keep sending me screenshots every now and then. In fact, every night, I've been checking messages on Instagram. It's a wonderful feeling. You obviously feel great when people watch something you've done, and they like and appreciate your performance in it. I'm in a good space."
