Over the decades, we have seen some exceptionally gifted Bollywood actresses, who proved that acting isn't just about delivering dialogues with composure and emotions, but it is also about getting into the skin of your character.
Also, over the years, many Bollywood actresses have managed to dazzle the big screen both with father and son during their acting career. Whether it's an item song or a full-fledged role, numerous actresses took multiple transitions in their acting style to thrive into different generations and proved that they're timeless. Legendary actress, Hema Malini had made her debut in Indian cinema with the film, Sapno Ke Saudagar opposite none other than the showman of the Hindi film industry, Raj Kapoor, in 1968 after making her debut in the Tamil film industry with the film, Idhu Sathiyam in 1963. Although many critics still regard Hema and Raj's jodi as an unconventional one. But fans had enjoyed their chemistry to the fullest.

After some years, Hema Malini had romanced Raj Kapoor's son and actor, Randhir Kapoor, in the film, Haath Ki Safai, and their romantic camaraderie on the screen was spot on and had received a lot of praise. Both Hema and Randhir had worked together in films like Naseeb, Censor, Chacha Bhatija, and Ginny Aur Johnny.
Bollywood actor, Sunny Deol had gotten married in the year 1984, just a year after the release of his first film, Betaab (1983), in a hush-hush wedding with London-based Pooja Deol. In those days there were rumours and speculations about Sunny's affair with actress, Dimple Kapadia and it had surprised everyone. The alleged couple had worked together in films like Arjun, Aag Ka Gola, Manzil-Manzil, Narasimha, and Gunah. At that time, everyone was aware of Dimple Kapadia and Sunny Deol's alleged relationship. In 1991, Dimple Kapadia and her alleged boyfriend's superstar father, Dharmendra, were cast opposite each other in the film, Dushman Devta. Although, the film was a box-office bomb but it is still remembered even to this day for Dimple and Dharmendra's kissing scene. Yes! You read it right, Dharmendra had kissed his son's alleged girlfriend, and another shocking thing about this is the sad fact that Dimple wasn't informed about the same. The actress was deeply saddened by the incident, while Dharmendra had stated that he was unaware of Sunny's relationship with Dimple.

In 2001, Rani Mukherji and Abhishek Bachchan had worked for the first time in the film, Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai, and everyone had fallen in love with their chemistry instantly. After which, the two had starred in a series of films like Yuva, Bunty Aur Babli, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, and had quickly become one of the best on-screen pairs of their generation. Everyone had secretly wished for the on-screen Bunty-Babli to turn into a real-life couple, and even the reports were rife that the duo would settle down soon, but nothing had materialised.
Rani Mukherji had also worked with Abhishek Bachchan's father and legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan, in a lot of movies, but it was Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, Black, which is their most famous one because of its incredible story, direction, and iconic lip-lock that had reportedly ended all the speculations of Rani being the bahu of the Bachchan clan once and for all.
Everyone is aware of the fact that Sridevi was born in Tamil Nadu and had started her journey as an actress in Tamil films. Before moving to Bollywood, the actress had acted in 70 films with some of the renowned actors of that generation. After which, next year in 1993, Govinda Govinda was the film in which Sridevi and Nagarjuna had romanced each other for the first time. Reena Roy was one of the leading actresses of her generation and had worked with some of the greatest actors of Indian cinema. The actress has worked with legendary actor, Sunil Dutt in a lot of movies. From Muqabla, Badle Ki Aag, Raaj Tilak, to Nagin, Dard ka Rishta, and many more, they had a great chemistry on-screen and a tremendously friendly bond off the screen.
However, not many people are aware of the fact that Reena Roy had also worked with Sunil Dutt's son, Sanjay Dutt, in his debut film, Rocky, directed by his father. The actress had portrayed the character of a rape survivor in the movie and was lauded for her portrayal.
When Madhuri Dixit was paired opposite Vinod Khanna by Firoz Khan in the film, Dayavan, everyone was impressed, the way Madhuri had acted opposite Vinod despite their huge age gap. It's impossible to find any other actress in Indian cinema who is as fit and talented as Shilpa Shetty Kundra. The gorgeous actress has worked in different decades, proving the mettle of her non-ageing trait. The actress has worked with many legends of Indian cinema, and one of them is Amitabh Bachchan, with whom she had worked in Laal Badshah in 1999.
After four years, the gorgeous Shilpa Shetty had starred with Amitabh Bachchan's son, Abhishek Bachchan, in the film, Phir Milenge. The actress had worked with him in Dus and had also done an item number with him in the film, Dostana.
Kajal Aggarwal isn't just one of the most recognised South Indian actresses but had also made a name for herself in Bollywood with films like Special 26, Singham, and Singham Returns. The actress has worked with a lot of legendary actors, and one of them is the great Chiranjeevi, whom she had romanced in the film, Khaidi No 150, which was released in 2017.

In the late '70s, '80s, and early '90s, legendary actress, Jaya Prada was one of the highest-paid actresses both in Telugu and Hindi cinema. Not many people are aware that the maestro of India cinema, Satyajit Ray, called Jaya "the most beautiful face on the Indian screen".
