Todd Sabatini is a 36-year-old resident of McHenry, Illinois, and he is a father to Theo, a 22-month-old baby boy. If the reports are to be believed, the father and his son left their home for what their relatives have described as a 'normal' afternoon walk. The family members revealed that it was around 12 P.M. on Sunday when the father-son duo left their home in McHenry and didn't return for hours, which led their concerned family members to contact the McHenry Police Department.
According to PEOPLE's report, the family members described Todd's behavior as an 'unusual one' and added that he didn't even carry the 'necessary provisions for an extended excursion' with his son, Theo. During the search operation, Theo's stroller was found behind a local market. According to the police, security footage showed Todd was trying to make contact with someone within the Zion Lutheran Church, and this happened at a supermarket.
Following this, the dad also reportedly conversed with someone at Taco Bell, then, along with his son, took a rideshare and reached the Greenfield Police Department in Wisconsin. To mention, the Greenfield Police Department in Wisconsin is an hour ride from the city where Theo and Todd reside. Reports further claimed that Todd spoke to an officer there, left the place around 2 P.M., and walked out on foot with his son. It couldn't be confirmed which topics were discussed between Todd and the other individuals he was seen recently interacting with, including the officer.

The following day, it was confirmed that Todd and Theo were found and were safe, after authorities said reliable information confirmed that Todd and Theo were in Milwaukee. In a Facebook post, the McHenry Police Department recently confirmed the father-son duo's safe return.
They thanked residents, partner agencies, and Wisconsin investigators who assisted them in finding the little one and his dad. However, no additional information has been released, including the reason Todd reached out to the Greenfield Police Department in Wisconsin and what he said to the individuals shown in the footage. It was also not revealed where Theo and Todd were found or whether they would face any charges. However, the incident has sparked a conversation, given the unknown reason the father vanished during the normal walking routine.
