A woman named Sarah Myres, who was a mom to four kids, ended up killing her own 4 children, along with the help of her own mother, Amy Steadman. The incident happened in late June of this year, and now, the devastated dad of the four kids has broken the silence about the same.
Devastated father of four kids expresses his grief over his ex-wife killing his four kids
Sarah and Amy were found dead along with 13-year-old Harper, 11-year-old Hudson, and 10-year-old twins Gavin and Gracelynn in Mechanicsville, N.Y. It was reported that Sarah and Amy poisoned the kids, and even stabbed one of them to death, as apparently one of the little ones was aware of the mass poisoning. Speaking on CBS 6, Brady Harmon, the dad of the four children, shared that his kids suffered, and he believes that people like his ex-wife and ex-mother-in-law should get a place in hell.
Brady and Sarah separated back in 2019, and he had earlier revealed that he has not met his kids since he got separated from his wife. He also added that it took him years to secure custody and visitation of their four kids. Only a few days were left for Hardy to meet his kids in person, and just 7 days prior to that, his kids passed away. Sharing his grief, the devastated father said:
"My kids suffered. To poison them and also to stab them... there’s a special place in hell for people like that. I wish there was something else I could have done legally."
Sarah Myres' last text to her ex-husband before killing her kids
Sarah Myres, in her final text to her ex-husband, Brady, said that the kids had 'a little stomach bug'. The message was sent on June 10, 2026, where, Myres wrote, 'The kids have gotten a little stomach bug, throwing up. Is it okay to switch your online visit to tomorrow night at 4 pm your time, please.' And according to Mechanicsville police, it was on the same day that Sarah, along with her mother, conspired to carry out the murder of the four little ones, before taking their own lives.
The bodies were found in Mechanicsville after a welfare check at the residence, following the neighbors raising concerns about not coming across the family who lived there. The bodies were badly decomposed, and a handwritten note was reportedly discovered at the scene along with evidence of over-the-counter drugs in Steadman’s apartment.
If the reports are to be believed, one of the kids had an idea about the poisoning. A message was uncovered by the authorities, where Sarah and Brady's daughter, Gracelynn, mentioned that she was not allowed to puke. The alleged message could be read as:
“Why would you do that? You both won’t let me puke."
After Sarah sent her ex-husband the text about the kids having 'a little stomach bug', he DM'd her to check on them after a few hours; reportedly, by then, the little ones were already dead, along with the mother-daughter duo, who conspired to end their lives after killing the little ones.
