Planning a wedding is just like getting on a roller-coaster ride. From last moment designer appointments to venue selection, the to-be bride and groom are always on their toes to create their dream wedding. However, the dynamics of the wedding industry have changed since the pandemic broke out. Now, people are opting for an intimate wedding rather than organising a big fat Indian wedding with a guest list of 5000 people.
And when it comes to the wedding ensemble, choosing the best one is not a cakewalk. However, these days, the millennial brides have a soft spot for the well-known designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and his signature red lehengas are stealing everyone’s heart away. The same is the case with Malvika Khiara, who followed the latest wedding trends and had an intimate wedding in a Sabyasachi lehenga.
The Sabyasachi bride, Malvika Khiara had tied the knot with her soulmate, Krish Mehta on June 6, 2021, at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai. Their wedding was a memorable affair, especially the designer bridal outfits, which were to die for! However, the most interesting element in their wedding was the matching outfits of the bride and the little munchkin. The two had looked adorable as they had posed for the camera.
A beautiful wedding to witness, Malvika and Krish's nuptials were truly a magical sight to behold. Styled in a gorgeous red coloured lehenga by the ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Malvika had looked dreamy with light makeup, glittery eyes and nude lip shade. However, it was her stunning jewellery that took our hearts away! Malvika had chosen a classic jewellery set featuring uncut diamonds with Russian emeralds by Vaishali Doshi Jewels. To complement her gorgeous jewellery, her makeup artist, Aishaa Khan added a pop of green in the bride’s lower lash line. Moreover, her hair was tied in a bun and adorned with a beautiful white gajra.
Krish, on the other hand, wore a stunning off-white coloured sherwani with golden embroidery on the collar, designed by Mischief Fashions. He had paired his outfit with a maroon doshala and a pearl neckpiece. However, what grabbed everyone's attention was a little girl who had donned a customised Sabyasachi lehenga similar to the bride's lehenga. Well, she had surely nailed the look as she had walked along with the bride.
For her mehendi ceremony, Malvika had dressed up in a yellow one-shoulder drape dress with golden embellishments and mirror work on the belt by Ravishing Couture. She had completed the look with flushed cheeks and nude lips along with a messy ponytail. While Krish had chosen an off white kurta-pyjama with a pastel-coloured nehru jacket with intense decorative thread embroidery.
For the evening affair, Malvika had chosen a custom ombre gown filled with intricately embroidered flowers and striking shades of blue colour by Zara Umrigar. Her makeup artist, Aishaa Khan had given her a striking and bold look. Aishaa had creatively added a graphic liner with subtle shimmer and a pop of blue on the bride’s eyes. Krish, on the other hand, had looked dapper in a crisp white shirt and black tuxedo.
Donning a stunning green lehenga with intricate embroidery from the renowned designer, Anushree Reddy, Malvika had looked lovely on her engagement night. She had accessorised her look with a single layer diamond necklace and matching earrings by L S Zaveri. Her makeup artist, Aishaa Khan had given her a subtle pink-toned look with a whimsical fishtail braid and big bouncy curls and light makeup.
Her groom, Krish had complemented her in a green-coloured kurta pyjama set with a matching nehru jacket by Mischief Fashions. And the two had looked picture-perfect. However, it was the cutest little girl who had won our hearts as she twinned with the bride on her engagement ceremony. The two had looked like princesses and their enchanting pictures are unmissable.
