'The Raja Saab' Social Media Reviews, Prabhas And Sanjay Dutt's Horror Film Receives Mixed Opinions

Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt have been making headlines for their latest horror-comedy film, The Raja Saab, which hit the theatres on January 9, 2026. Ever since the film has been released, social media users can't stop talking about the same. The Raja Saab features a clash between Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt

The story of The Raja Saab revolves around 'Raju' (Prabhas), who plans to sell his grandparents' old mansion to earn good money. However, in an attempt to sell it, he realises that the mansion is haunted, by its former patriarch, his late grandfather (Sanjay Dutt). The narrative of the film revolves around the horrific events that take place in the mansion. The film also features 'Raju's' effort to escape. Apart from the lead, the film stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab and more.

Right after the movie, The Raja Saab hit the big screen, multiple users shared their views on the same. Several users explained that the VFX of the film was very good. Some users also appreciated the strong acting skills, especially by Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt. One user commented, "#RajaSaab 3.75/5 Emotional Horror-Fantasy laced with humor. #Prabhas charismatic, stylish look & compelling performance. #SanjayDutt screen presence, gorgeous heroines, fantastic sets & Vfx, Epic scale -all. A Grand theatrical watch." 

Another user penned, "The VFX was actually good no real issues there. Prabhas looks good in some scenes, but very bad in the songs. His dialogues are unclear; I couldn’t understand most of them." A third user penned a long note on the film. The user gave the movie 5 stars and shared that it will cross Rs. 2000 crore soon. The review can be read as:

Netizens call the narrative of The Raja Saab ‘unbearable’

Apart from the positive reviews that the film, The Raja Saab received, some users also pointed out the weak points of the horror-comedy movie. While some users raised questions on the poor narrative, others expressed their disappointment on the unnecessary long runtime. One user shared, "This is not the Prabhas we want to see. Pathetic script bro! Strictly average movie!!" Another user wrote, "This is supposed to be a movie of India’s biggest superstar, but what we actually get is one of the biggest cinematic disappointments." A third user penned, 

"Raja Saab: Writing: This is where the movie completely fails. The concept was great, but the story, screenplay, and dialogues were unbearable. Female leads: Why were they even in the movie? Remove them and nothing changes. Songs: Average. This movie had the potential to be Night at the Museum, but instead turned out to be troll-worthy."
