The Great Khali Involved In A Car Accident At 54, Ex-WWE Wrestler Reveals Latest Health Update

In a piece of shocking news, wrestler and former WWE star The Great Khali was involved in a car accident. The professional wrestler gave a recent health update, stating that he escaped without any injuries. This was after Khali's SUV got involved in an accident at a toll plaza in Panipat, Haryana, on August 29, 2026.

The Great Khali shares his health update after his car met with an accident

The former WWE star, Khali had left his fans worried when he met with a car accident. He took to his social media handle to address his worried fans. Khali shared that he has been getting a lot of phone calls and stated:

"Doston, main bilkul theek hoon. Aapki blessing hai mere saath. Parmatma mere saath hai. Bilkul theek hai. Thodi si gadi lagi thi lekin main kisi ko batana nai chahta tha. Choti si baat badi nai karna. Par bahut social and national media pe baat phel gayi thi. Doston mei ekdam sahi hu, swasth hu, aap log chinta karte hai."

Khali's fans could not stop praying for him, as one wrote, "I’m praying for you, bro. You brought so many great childhood memories into my life, and I’ll never forget them. We have to protect and uplift you during this time. Just know that you are loved, appreciated, and never forgotten. I love you, bro. Keep fighting and stay strong." Another fan wrote, "Hamere Panipat main hua tha toll tax par accident Khali sir ki gadi ka. Sir is alive, that means entertainment is alive." Khali, also known as Dalip Singh, was unharmed when his SUV was involved in a road accident.

How did The Great Khali meet with a car accident?

According to social media reports, another vehicle at a toll plaza in Panipat rammed into Khali's vehicle. The 54-year-old ex-wrestler stated that it was not a big deal and that he did not get any injuries.

The scary incident left Khali's fans very worried after videos of his damaged car had surfaced on social media. Comments such as, "How did you escape from Bhai Khali? No one could stand in the WWE ring. The car was involved in a Great Khali accident. It looks like Khali kicked the white car" surfaced on X.

Khali appeared calm and composed as he spoke to his worried fans who kept checking on his well-being post the incident. He stated that many of his followers could not stop calling him, checking on him to see if he was fine or not. Khali addressed his fans by saying that their blessings were always with him and told them to relax. In his words:

“I thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing concern and worrying about my health. Please take care of yourselves. Jai Bharat!"

Speaking more about The Great Khali, at the age of 54, he is one of the most famous Indian names in the domain of professional wrestling. He is seven feet tall and reportedly weighs around 157 kg. Khali was born in India and, in 1993, joined the police force before he took part in wrestling professionally.

In 2000, Khali kicked off his professional wrestling career, and in 2007 he made his WWE debut. It was on SmackDown! where he first made his appearance and smashed The Undertaker.

It was in 2007, that Khali won the World Heavyweight Championship after eliminating Dave Bautista, who is also known as Batista. Khali had also defeated Kane in a 20-man over-the-top fight on SmackDown! Khali became the first Indian born wrestler to win a world championship in WWE history.
