Drew mentioned in his caption that he married his best friend and that they had made 4 outfit changes for the wedding. Drew and Marianne had a dream of marrying in Costa Rica, and the singer in his caption penned:

"Married my best friend. Alex caught the bouque. Alex’s 25 min speech did not ruin the wedding. Perfect sunset. 4 outfit changes. Life time of happiness underway."

Drew Taggart and his wife, Marianne Fonseca, have always had a dream of getting married in Costa Rica, ever since they visited that place. Marianne, earlier in an interview with Vogue, shared that she had always dreamt of wearing a timeless gown for her wedding that would reflect her personal style. The model had luck in her favour as Schiaparelli created her gown. Marianne got a custom design from scratch, and it was a dream come true moment. In her words:

"We created a dress that had two personalities that revealed themselves over the course of the night. I walked down the aisle in the full dress, and then [it] transformed into a mini corset for the reception."

Drew for his wedding day had turned to his buddy, David August, who had created a double-breasted suit that had peak lapels. Like the rest of the wedding details, Drew’s goal was to have a classic look that spoke to his personality more than the environment of the wedding. The singer later in the night changed into a champagne dinner jacket to coordinate with the bride’s Schiaparelli mini dress.

Drew Taggart had proposed to Marianne Fonseca at a restaurant in Los Angeles back in 2024. When Marianne opened the door of the restaurant, she was shocked to see him. This was because she was expected to have a girls' night out with her buddy, Ivanka Trump. Marianne, speaking about her proposal, shared in an interview with E! Online revealed:

"Nobody was there at the time of the proposal because Drew knew I wanted the moment to be just between us. Afterward, everyone arrived, and I already had the ring on. Some people already knew, and others didn’t—it was so special seeing how happy everyone was for us!"

Marianne also shared of how she had imagined her wedding ceremony many times when she and Drew were planning. She had worked hard to control her emotions so she could enjoy every moment and complete all my vows without crying. Drew, on the other hand, was calm during his wedding, and he felt he did what he was supposed to do.
