Indian weddings are all about glam, and the gala affairs can send anyone into meltdown in split seconds. Most of all, the glamorous ensembles of the brides and grooms are cherries on the cake. These days, we have witnessed many brides choosing their own outfits and stealing the show at their wedding. From pastel shades to pop of colours, and sheer fabric to sequinned ones, the brides are leaving no stones unturned to make their wedding extra special.
The bride of the week, Niki Mehra had tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Sid. Niki, who is a blogger by profession, had grabbed eyeballs with her unique sartorial choices at her wedding. However, it was her Cocktail party ensemble that had stolen the show for us. So, without further ado, let's decode Niki Mehra's cocktail party look.
The bride, Niki Mehra had opted for a golden lehenga from the brand, Dabiri Couture, for her cocktail party, and she had looked oh-so-gorgeous. The intricate work on the lehenga, and the embroidered patterns had made it for a beautiful outfit. One look at the glittery outfit, and one can guess how glamorous it would have looked at the grand night setup.
A few days back, taking to her IG handle, Niki Mehra had dropped mesmerising pictures from her cocktail party. The then-bride had penned a caption and had revealed that it had taken her a month to finalise her Cocktail outfit. Well, it looks like her time and effort were all worth it. Her caption can be read as:
"Dipped in gold with my golden boy. FUN STORY: I finalised my wedding and mehendi outfit in one day and it took me one month to finalise my cocktail look. I think it’s the most challenging because every outfit looked so similar to me. I wanted to experiment with a bold all gold and shimmer outfit.. we got this piece made from scratch and I loved how it sparkled at night. Ps: your girl chose Sid’s outfit too and oh boy, so dapper for a cocktail night haina?"
Niki's glittery lehenga had featured mirrorwork and embellishments all over it. She had paired her look with a strapped blouse featuring a sweetheart neckline. Her blouse had unique cutwork and sequinned work all over it. Moreover, she had opted for a heavily-embroidered matching dupatta to style her look. Her dupatta had featured cut work on its hemline, and it had added an oomph factor to her overall look.
Keeping her look simple, the bride had chosen crystal embedded diamond jewellery set. She had completed her look with a sleek choker and matching earrings. Along with it, she had worn a stone-studded bangle in each hand and had added some rings on her fingers. Her minimal jewellery look had let her outshine, and it had taken our attention directly to her gorgeous outfit.
Niki's makeup artist, Pooja Khurana, had finished her look with smokey eyes and nude lips. The then-bride had completed her bridal look with sultry makeup, which had included defined brows, kohled-winged eyes, thick lashes, blushed and highlighted cheeks, and golden body shimmer. She had kept her hair open in wavy curls and had looked like a sight to behold.
On the other hand, the groom, Sid had complemented his then bride's wedding look. He had looked handsome in a black-coloured embroidered sherwani from the shelves of ace designer, Gaurav Gupta. He had paired it with black trousers. The then-bride, Niki had chosen her then groom's attire, and needless to say, together, the couple had looked picture-perfect.
