Once again, as Aishwarya turned 50 and celebrated her birthday in an intimate way, the Bachchans' absence from the bash stirred dispute rumours.
On November 1, 2023, Aishwarya Rai turned 50 and celebrated her birthday at the opening of a hospital. She was spotted celebrating her special day along with her mother, Brinda Rai and her daughter, Aaradhya Rai Bachchan. However, neither Abhishek Bachchan nor his family was present at Aishwarya's 50th birthday bash. This raised the netizens' eyebrows, and they started speculating dispute rumours yet again. However, as per a report in BollywoodLife, a source close to them also mentioned that Bachchan celebrated their bahu's 50th birthday intimately and didn't post anything on social media.

In one of the videos from the same event, Aaradhya Bachchan can be heard praising her doting mommy, Aishwarya, for the kind of human being she is. The celeb kid was heard expressing her love for the actress and also mentioned how Aishwarya is doing amazing work by helping people and everyone around the world. However, it was Aaradhya's ending note that even left Aishwarya surprised. Aaradhya pointed at the Ponniyin Selvan actress and mentioned that she is truly incredible and also bowed down for her mother. It was indeed a picture-worthy moment for both the mother-daughter duo.

On April 1, 2023, Aishwarya arrived on the second day of the NMACC event along with her daughter, Aaradhya. But, unfortunately, this time also, Abhishek was not present with them. Soon, a report in POPxo claimed that gossipmongers have started speculating about the couple’s separation. However, Abhishek's reaction to Aishwarya's photo on Twitter dismissed the rumours. It was on April 1, 2023, when a fan of the Bachchan family took to her Twitter handle and shared a gorgeous picture of Aishwarya and Aaradhya from the same event. Sharing the picture, the Twitter user wrote, “My fav people” and tagged Abhishek. Within some time, Abhishek too, dropped a cute comment on the picture, which read, “Mine too.”

However, the report in POPxo also claimed that Aishwarya has been living separately with Aaradhya due to some unknown issues with her in-laws, especially her mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan and sister-in-law, Shweta Bachchan. This was the reason which created a difference between Aishwarya and Abhishek, and thus, he didn't appear at the NMACC event along with Aishwarya and Aaradhya.
