Getting married in the presence of your elders is no less than the greatest blessing in your life. And it turns even more special when you tie the knot in one’s own ancestral place, which has recorded a deep-rooted heritage over the years. And Telugu diva, Shubhra Aiyappa has sought a similar chance of a golden union with her beau, Vishal Sivappa in the latter’s ancestral place in Bangalore.
Taking to her IG handle on January 19, 2023, popular Telegu actress announced the happiest news of her life to the world, as she got married to the love of her life and a businessman by profession, Vishal Sivappa. The wedding was an intimate one, and was deeply traditional, as the couple became together in the presence of their close friends and family in Vishal’s 150-year-old ancestral place. Along with the pictures, Shubhra also penned a sweet note, which could be read as:
“Vishal and I got married in the presence of our loved ones in 'Doddamane'. This is his ancestral home of over 150 years. We felt the love of this joyous occasion in this magical place with our beautiful near and dear ones.”

For the wedding, the couple opted for completely traditional South Indian wedding attires, that celebrated their cultural roots in all. Shubhra looked radiant in a golden-hued Kanjeevaram saree, that had hints of a baby pink-hued undertone panelling. She wore traditional gold temple jewellery, and wore a jasmine garland and a gajra on her hair. Henna clad hands, dewy makeup and her bright smile stole the show. On the other hand, Shubhra’s groom, Vishal decked up in a crisp white-hued kurta, and paired with a matching veshti. He carried a golden-hued angavastram, and wore a beige-hued turban. In all, the couple looked like a match made-in-heaven.
The stunning couple, Shubhra and Vishal make for a stylish pair in all. The duo never ceases an opportunity to share glimpses of their happy moments with one another. For instance, Vishal once shared a glamorous picture of himself along with Shubhra, and called her as his lady. In the picture, the duo looked gorgeous in twinning black attires, as they struck a perfect pose for the lens.

Shubhra and Vishal had been engaged to each other almost a year back in January 2022. The couple had in a witting way announced their engagement by posting pictures of themselves from their trip to Maldives. From the pictures, one could spot Shubhra flaunting a big diamond ring on her finger, indicating her engagement to her beau.
