Winner of Bigg Boss 15, Tejasswi Prakash has been a famous face on Indian television, with an impressive stint on reality shows and daily soaps. The actress was last seen in Naagin 6, which aired for over a year, keeping the actress busy. In an interview with Times Entertainment, the actress revealed that she is keen to explore other mediums.
Television actress, Tejasswi Prakash has worked extensively on the medium, starring in more than 11 reality shows and daily soaps. Beginning her career with a suspense thriller TV show, 2612 in 2012, the actress played some memorable characters that made her career soar. After starring in the sixth season of a well-known TV serial, Naagin, Tejasswi intends to take a break from TV. She was quoted as saying:
“I am not going to say that I will never do a TV show. After all, it has made me who I am today. If done in the right manner wherein you pick the right shows, then you certainly get recognition. People know me, but now I want that to translate into something else. So yes, I have taken a break from television.”

Tejasswi has worked in Marathi films and music videos as well. The actress hasn't backed any Bollywood projects. But she believes she can do it as other famous TV actors have. For the unversed, Hina Khan, Mrunal Thakur, Mouni Roy, and Vikrant Massey are some actors who successfully switched from TV to films. Taking about getting a break in the film industry, Tejasswi said:
“Yes, it is tough, but people have done it, and so, I feel I can do it too. It might take a little longer, but it is not impossible. I want to explore different mediums. But as they say, never say never. I have learnt it from life, and I have learnt it the hard way.”
Tejasswi Prakash comes from a Marathi household. The actress appeared in two Marathi films. She made her debut with the suspense-romantic film, Mann Kasturi Rein 2022. Next, she starred in the film, School College Ani Life, produced by filmmaker, Rohit Shetty. Reflecting on the experience, she revealed that her parents want her to work in Marathi films. Sharing the details, she said:
“My parents wanted me to do Marathi films, so I did it for them and loved the whole experience. You get to learn so much from it. I feel in the Marathi film industry, acting is taken very seriously because most of the actors there are so well-prepared. Also, they are predominantly stage actors, which is why they are so confident, fluent in the language and have a great command over their accent.”

On the work front, Tejasswi Prakash was last seen in Naagin 6 which aired for over a year. Also, she appeared on the show, Temptation Island India, hosted by Karan Kundrra and Mouni Roy. Also, she was seen on an episode of the culinary show, Family Table hosted by celebrity chef, Ranveer Brar. Tejasswi is currently on break and exploring opportunities in web series and films.
