Shah Rukh Khan's Health Update: KKR's Co-Owner, Juhi Chawla Says The Actor Is 'Feeling Much Better'

In a recent interview, Juhi Chawla gave an update on Shah Rukh Khan's health after the actor suffered a heat stroke and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was recently admitted to KD Hospital after suffering a heat stroke during a recent IPL match. The actor was attending the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium along with his kids, Suhana and AbRam.

Post the match, SRK was rushed to KD Hospital on May 22, 2024, as he fell sick due to heatstroke and dehydration. Ever since the news of Shah Rukh’s health flashed on social media, his fans have been expressing their concern over the same. And now, Shah Rukh’s best friend and KKR’s co-owner, Juhi Chawla gave an update on the superstar's health.

Juhi Chawla shares Shah Rukh Khan’s health update

Speaking to News18, Juhi revealed that Shah Rukh was not feeling well but is now doing much better and will soon be seen at the stance during the next match. In her words:

“Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals.”

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s wife, Gauri Khan, was papped as she rushed to the hospital to check her husband’s health. Gauri was seen visibly worried as she visited the hospital. Shah Rukh was in Ahmedabad to attend his team's recent match and felt uneasy after the game. His kids and manager, Pooja Dadlani, were also present with him during the match. After the match, SRK greeted his fans with his signature pose.

In the last match, Shah Rukh’s team, KKR beat SRK by 8 wickets and qualified for the finals. It was indeed a proud moment for the teams’ owners, Shah Rukh, Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta. Hoping to win the trophy after 10 years, Juhi, in a media interaction, said:

“It’s such a good feeling! We are all so happy, so thrilled, proud and so thankful of the team… they have played consistently well throughout the tournament and reached the finals. Every year, we wish and hope for this exhilarating moment and today, it is actually here – the prestigious trophy is just one game away.”

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the film, Dunki and will reportedly begin shooting for his upcoming film King in July. In the film, Shah Rukh will be seen alongside his daughter, Suhana. The handsome actor will also be seen in the sequel to Pathaan.
