Recently, she joined Toy Story 5 director Andrew Stanton for a Q&A session and, during one segment, revealed a habit she and her BFF Abigail Anderson shared that their husbands had to "put up" with.

Taylor Swift and her best friend, Abigail Anderson, share a high school quirk that lives on years later. During her recent appearance, Taylor reflected on her relationship with Abigail while sharing why she felt like she could relate to the characters 'Bonnie' and 'Blaze'. The I knew it I knew you singer recalled moving to Nashville when she was 14 and said:
"I'd love to pile on to what Andrew was saying about finding someone who's the same genre as weird and silly as you are, and just why Bonnie and Blaze's story resonated with me so much. When I moved to Nashville when I was 14, you know, you're the new kid in school, and you're like, 'Who should I be friends with? These girls are cool, these girls are cool, these are nice girls.'"
Taylor recalled how she saw Abigail, who also had curly hair like 'Blaze' from Toy Story 5. They eventually became friends and developed a random habit of talking to each other in 'Napoleon Dynamite's' voice. She revealed that it was a habit that has followed them into adulthood and something that their respective husbands have to put up with. She said:
"But there was one girl named Abigail — and she even has curly hair, too, like Blaze — and the two of us, all we wanted to do was talk in Napoleon Dynamite voices. And we still do this — and it's something our husbands have to put up with."
She then mimicked the husky voice of Napoleon Dynamite's titular character (played by Jon Heder). Her expression earned a laugh from the crowd. Taylor Swift added that it's extremely important to find someone who sees you at your purest and accepts and embraces your weirdness. She was quoted as saying:
"And so it's like, you know, when you find that person who just completely sees you for the strange, little genre that is you at your purest, that hit me so hard watching the film," Swift said.
Talking about their husbands, the Grammy winner tied the knot with NFL star Travis Kelce in a star-studded wedding at New York City's Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026. Anderson married her husband, Charles "Charlie" Berard, in 2022.

In the same conversation, Taylor Swift talked about the Eras Tour and revealed that she was extremely exhausted during the concerts. She reflected on the lengthy skits and being on her feet for hours and revealed that she would spend her day off in bed, just trying to recharge for the next concert. While the singer didn't directly comment on any upcoming tours, fans think that the singer's admission was a hint that she doesn't plan on going back on the road just yet.
As for music, Taylor Swift has been releasing new music even after the Eras Tour ended. The singer released The Life of a Showgirl in October 2025, and The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore in September 2026. Apart from that, she has also voiced I Knew It, I Knew You for Toy Story 5, the latest installment in the beloved Pixar animated film franchise.
The movie, which premiered in theaters on June 19, 2026, follows 'Woody' (Tom Hanks), 'Buzz Lightyear' (Tim Allen), 'Jessie' (Joan Cusack), and their crew of toys as they reckon with kids' preference for technology over physical toys. Taylor Swift became emotional while discussing her Toy Story 5 song during an interview with Good Morning America in June 2026.
She noted that she is the only songwriter to create music for a Toy Story movie besides composer Randy Newman, who famously wrote the iconic theme You've Got a Friend in Me for the original 1995 Toy Story. She revealed that it felt wonderful to have Randy's blessing to write the song, and she was "absolutely dazzled by it".
