Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleSince Taylor Swift openly spoke about politics in 2018, she has opposed President Donald Trump. He also didn't hold back from commenting on the pop star, and he even said, 'I hate Taylor Swift.' A recent incident reignited it all over again after a post from Donald Trump's team featured Taylor's song. With the recent incident, people have been questioning what could be the possible reason behind this, and while there is no official confirmation as of now, speculations and theories are already out there.
Taylor Swift's song, August was removed from Donald Trump's post
Donald Trump's TikTok team recently posted a video, wherein Taylor Swift's song, August, was used. The song was released back in 2020, and according to Variety, the beautiful track was used in a video where Donald Trump and Melania Trump were seen standing next to each other with fireworks in the backdrop. The video carried a caption that read, 'Mood because it’s August and Donald Trump is your president.'

A few hours after the post, it came to attention that the audio on the particular post was apparently removed. Social media users and the singer's followers found out that the TikTok flashed the message that said the copyright owner hasn’t made this sound available in your country. While people have been wondering what could possibly be the reason, the extended caption of the recent post also grabbed attention. In the caption of the recent post from Donald Trump's team, it was stated that Swift will be excited as her song was used in the post. The exact words of the caption were:
"I’m sure @TaylorSwift is going to be super excited we used her song! #taylorswift #maga #august.”
With the caption anticipating Swift's reaction to the post, and the following incident showing the post being muted, the conversation is up. Swift's fans have since tagged this as 'absolute cinema'. The main reason behind the removal of the song has not been known, and Swift and her team have not commented on the same matter as of now.
What was the reason for Taylor Swift's audio being removed from Donald Trump's team's TikTok post?
Some Swifties believe it was Swift's way of reemphasising her political views and challenging the allegations, while others feel it could be a sign of Swift distancing herself from Trump’s political movement. As others have assumed, there could be several possible reasons behind the removal of the song, including the singer requesting the removal and the outcome of a copyright or licensing process. It also came to attention that some of the other videos that featured Swift's songs were also removed.

One of these posts dated back to last year and used the soundtrack, Father Figure, from which the audio has now been removed, along with another post which used the song Opatile. However, another post from last year was posted with the song The Fate Of Ophelia, which has been kept, leaving people to wonder what is going on, or whether it's a deliberate step from the singer or a glitch. Swift is yet to break her silence about it, but the incident is already making headlines.
