For those unaware, Sheridan was born on May 21, 1970. This makes him 56 years old as of August 2026. On the other hand, his wife, Nicole was reportedly born on March 19, 1983. This makes her 43 years old as of now and highlights that she is 13 years younger than her husband.
Sheridan famously reproduced his real-life relationship age gap in Yellowstone Season 5. In the series, his character ‘Travis Wheatley’ got into a relationship with ‘Sadie,’ played by supermodel Bella Hadid.
Since Sheridan is the one who makes the call about who joins the show and who doesn't, many believe that he might have been aware of the real-life irony, especially considering that talk of a huge age gap made it into the dialogue of an episode itself. During a conversation between Bella’s character and Kelly Reilly’s ‘Beth Dutton,’ the latter says:
"[Travis is] probably the most arrogant man I've ever met in my life. Misogynistic. Condescending. 25 years older than you. Can you please explain the appeal?"
The duo reportedly met when Sheridan had a small role in Sons of Anarchy. At the time, he was also working as an acting coach to make ends meet. Before long, his career took a turn for the better when he sold the screenplay for Sicario and ended up getting nominated at the Oscars. Shortly after this, Paramount also offered to pay Taylor Sheridan over USD 500 million a year to keep his shows up and running.
It was in 2013 that Sheridan and Nicole tied the knot. Since then, the Yellowstone creator has often gushed about how his wife has been with him every step of the way and how she supported his work as a writer and creator before he made it big in Hollywood. For instance, during the premiere event of his series, The Madison, Sheridan thanked Nicole by saying:
"I'd like to begin by thanking my wife, who believed in me when no one else did, including myself ... Without her, I'd just be the coolest acting coach in L.A. I'm really glad I'm not."
