Tanishaa Mukerji is the daughter of yesteryear actress, Tanuja and ace director, writer, and producer, Shomu Mukherjee. On the professional front, just like her mother and sister, Tanishaa is making a name for herself in the industry. She is now all set to be seen in Love You Shankar, co-starring Shreyas Talpade. Being the sister of Kajol, Tanishaa is often compared to her. Now, Tanishaa has yet again opened up about the comparisons.
In an interview with ETimes, Tanishaa Mukerji opened up about the comparisons that are often made between her and her darling sister, Kajol. Tanishaa mentioned that she takes it as a compliment since, according to her, Kajol is one of the brilliant actresses of her time. So, the gorgeousness mentioned that these things don't matter to her. Moreover, embracing certain differences with Kajol, Tanishaa emphasised:
"I think it's a huge compliment. I don't look at it as a negative. I look at it as a compliment because I think my sister is one of the most brilliant actresses in the industry. I cannot be like Kajol, and Kajol cannot be like me. So I don't look at it as a negative. I think she's already shown the world what she can do. And now I'm showing the world what I can do."

In the candid interview, Tanishaa then reflected on her relationship with Kajol and talked about the little things between them that she likes the most. Tanishaa mentioned that although they fight, they are each other's biggest strength. Revealing more such instances from their relationship, Tanishaa shared:
"The way she loves me. I love the way she loves me. Sisters fight. We love to fight. We cannot love each other without fighting. Fighting is part of love. My favorite memory is snuggling in bed with her. She's the best hugger. Snuggle for the best."
Tanishaa then went on to explain her relationship with Kajol's family. She revealed the one quality she admires greatly in her brother-in-law, Ajay Devgn. Talking about the same, Tanishaa mentioned that she acknowledges Ajay's patience gratefully. In addition, she opened up about the love and madness that is filled between her and her sister's kids, Yug and Nysa, and affectionately stated:
"My rapport with him is that he has a lot of patience with me. And I love that he is so patient with me. Nephew and niece are mad. I love them. It's love. So much love and madness."

Earlier, in an interaction with Siddharth Kannan, Tanishaa talked about her film career, which went downhill over the years. Recalling a specific moment, she shared that it was her brother-in-law, Ajay Devgn, who stepped in to help her dying career when she went out of work for 2-3 years. Revealing how he got her a secretary to manage things better, she said that she became stable professionally only afterwards.
