Actress, Tanishaa Mukerji has done movies in the Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil cinema domains. She had found love in Armaan Kohli, and the pair dated for many years before separating. Tanishaa was also in a relationship with Uday Chopra, but it did not work out. The actress recently revealed being hopeful about finding love in her 40s.

Tanishaa Mukerji opens up about finding love at the age of 47

Tanishaa Mukerji recently sat down for an interview with Zoom TV and was asked about why she was single. Was it because people preferred the same, as marriage has turned out to be a disaster for a lot? Tanishaa revealed that she looked at it in a way that made her feel ahead of her time. Tanishaa shared that she was not able to find true love in her 20s and 30s, but she is hopeful about the same in her 40s. The actress shared:

"It is about two people, women and men, understanding each other and being a little more empathetic. That is why I did not get married, and I am happy that I have not. Because rather than being in a failed marriage, I would rather find somebody who would partner with me. It did not happen in my 20s or 30s, I am still hopeful it will happen in my 40s. I am not against it. I just look at it this way. I am ahead of the times."

Tanishaa Mukerji reveals if she likes solitude or the idea of marriage

Tanishaa further shared in the interview that marriage is an amazing institution. She thinks it is a beautiful bond and an amazing coming together of two families, two souls. For her, marriage is about families coming together. It is not just about two people coming together, and it is a beautiful bond. In her words:

"I really believe in marriage. I don't believe in getting married especially if you are independent and karna hai toh karlo. Phir 2 saal mei divorce karlo. Yeh sab I don't agree with that. Bachei paida karne hai toh karlo. Phir unko chodh ke chale jao. Everybody just comes up to be like pehle woh log kehte thei Neal 'n' Nikki mei etne kam kapde pehne. Phir 1-2 saal baad sab actresses kum kapde pehne lage. Abhi toh sab kam hi kapde pehente hai. Eventually they came to the times na."

Tanishaa Mukerji reveals that disagreements should not crumble a marriage

Speaking about marriage, Tanishaa also revealed that she is a firm believer in the institution that ties two people in a forever union. She revealed that when two people get married, it is important to adjust and make the relationship work in a particular direction. Tanishaa revealed that disagreements should not break a marriage. In her words:

"Mujhe yeh sab samaj nai aata. Mujhe woh samaj aata hai. 2 log ek saath aate hai zindagi bananei ke liye and woh zindagi nibhane ke liye more important than anything ek rishta ko nibhana padta hai. Koi bhi rishte mei gir padh sakta hai. Rishta banana hai toh 2 minute mei ban jaega kisi ke saath lekin woh rishte ko nibhana bahut zarori hai. Aur dono taraf se. Kabhi kabhi we will not agree with each other. That doesn't mean you will leave."
