And an exactly similar relationship is shared between Bollywood’s bindass actress, Kajol and her sister, Tanishaa Mukerji. Kajol, who is known for her stupendous acting, shares a very strong bond with her sister, Tanishaa Mukherji. From cheering the loudest on each other’s victories to being one another’s biggest critic, they are one of the most sought-after siblings of the glamour world. On Raksha Bandhan last year, i.e., August 15, 2019, Kajol had proved that protection is not gender biased. She had taken to her IG handle and had shared a beautiful picture with Tanishaa, where the two had cuddled each other and had written a beautiful note. Her note could be read as “Who says protection is male and only one sided? Flexing my big sis muscles this Raksha Bandhan! #happyrakshabandhan.”
On September 17, 2020, Kajol took to her IG handle and shared a goofy picture of herself with hair rollers. Along with the funny picture, Kajol wrote, “Talk to the hair rollers... Too glam to give a damn.” And on her post, her sister, Tanishaa’s comment was unmissable. She wrote, “U bet u are my shnukums… too glam!" Take a look:
On August 5, 2020, Kajol had turned a year older, and her sister, Tanishaa had made sure to make her day super special. She had shared some of the best pictures with Kajol, clicked over the years. In one of the pictures, we could see them posing with red colour smeared on their faces and, in another picture, they could be seen posing with their mom, Tanuja. Tanishaa had captioned the pictures as "Happy birthday my gorgeous beautiful soul... my sister! Thank you for teaching me how to love! Love you sooooo much! @Kajol." On the occasion of World Siblings Day, Tanishaa had taken to her IG handle and had shared two beautiful candid pictures with her sister, Kajol. In the pictures, Kajol and Tanishaa had given major sibling goals to the millennials. Along with the pictures, Tanishaa had written, “Sisters that laugh together always have an inside joke #ghuspus #girls #sisterlove #happysiblingsday.”
On March 3, 2020, Tanishaa had celebrated her 42nd birthday and her sister, Kajol had shared a twinning picture with her from the '90s. Along with it, she had written, "Hey you..... Happy happy birthday you sweet girl. Wish you the world." In the throwback picture, we can see Kajol and Tanishaa striking a similar pose as they had worn denim dungarees.
Coming to Kajol and Tanishaa bond, the two always have each other's back. In an interview with India Forum, Kajol had talked about her sister, Tanishaa's Bigg Boss experience and had said, "I was just glad she was back. The first thing we said was, Shit! You've starved yourself! Issko koi paratha khilao' She came back half her size, looking so frail. (Laughs) To which she shrieked, Please no more parathas!'" She had further added, "I was okay with it. She knew what she was signing up for. Whoever saw her thought she conducted herself with grace and dignity. She's come out with flying colours.
