On September 2, 2019, every Mumbaikar had welcomed Lord Ganpati at their homes, expressing their devotion towards their elephant-headed devta and had left no stone unturned to make this festival, an event of great pomp and show. Sometime back, we saw Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu and their soon-to-be two-year-old daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu taking the blessings of Lord Ganesha at Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma’s home. In 2018, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Taimur Ali Khan had celebrated the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi at her aunt, Rima Jain’s home. Taimur’s mamus, Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain had shared sneak-peeks from the celebrations. Baby Tim had looked adorable beyond words in his white kurta-pyjama with light blue embellishments on it, while his star mommy had stunned us in a beautiful simple white and red salwaar kameez. And needless to say, Taimur had stolen the limelight from his star Kapoor family!
Just like last year, this year too, Taimur Ali Khan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at Rima Jain’s abode. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Babita, Hiroo Johar, Armaan Jain and his fiancee, Anissa Malhotra along with kids, Kiaan Raj Kapoor, Taimur Ali Khan, Roohi Johar and Yash Johar got together to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha before it is time to bid him adieu. Karisma shared glimpses from the celebrations but our favourite is the one in which baby Tim shouts ‘Mangal Moorti Morya’ with his mamu, Armaan and brother, Kiaan! Karisma captioned the video as “#ganpatibappamoriya #family @therealarmaanjain @anissamalhotra @rimosky.”
A few days back, a video of Taimur Ali Khan from the celebrations of Dahi Handi ritual on Janmashtami had emerged on the internet. Taimur had celebrated the festival with his cousin, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu along with his fellow friends, and to mark the naughtiness and innocence of baal Gopal, B-town’s Kanhaiya had taken part in the Dahi Handi. An elated Taimur could be seen sitting on a man’s shoulders, trying to reach out for the handi, but the colourful balloons had distracted him. In another video that had emerged from the Dahi Handi celebrations, we could hear Taimur saying, “I want to hold it in my hand” after he gets down from the man’s shoulders. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Saif Ali Khan had acknowledged and thanked paparazzi for giving Taimur Ali Khan “a little opportunity to be normal”. He had said, "They have shown class and dignity in doing that. My deepest respect to them, for giving Taimur a little opportunity to be normal. Taimur was in London (till now), and hadn’t seen a camera in a long time. I promise you he didn’t miss it at all."
Earlier, in an interview, Saif Ali Khan had revealed the new words his little one, Taimur Ali Khan had learnt to say and how they are enjoying these moments with him. Saif had stated, “He has learnt a few new words. He calls me ‘abba’ and has now started to say ‘baby’ and ‘gum’. Whenever he sees a chewing gum, he would just scream ‘gum’. He likes to watch the moon, so I sit with him in my office and show him the moon.” Saif had further added, "Taimur should be freely able to take his evening outing in the park. It becomes difficult in certain situations, but the photographers are really friendly. They are just doing their jobs and they don’t push him or his nanny, which is really kind. They aren’t aggressive so I’m happy.”
In a throwback interview with the DNA, Kareena Kapoor Khan had revealed how she manages to strike a perfect balance between her personal and professional lives. Bebo had shared, “I love doing nothing and being at home, just with my son, Taimur. But again, I also know that I can’t always do that. So, the idea is to find that balance. Strangely and honestly, I’ve found the perfect balance between my personal and professional life. For instance, if I’m working back-to-back for four-five days, I take the next two-three days off because I want that downtime. I need to have my family and friends around because my life revolves around them. I need to feel like a human being. I can’t treat myself like a robot because this industry and the atmosphere pushes you to become one. People are always on the go — if you’re not at work or a set, you’re on digital platforms like Instagram and Twitter or talking somewhere and giving your comments.”
A few months back, in an interview with Miss Malini, Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about the sensation she has given birth to and the adorable outfits he wears. Revealing if she shops for Taimur Ali Khan or not, Bebo had stated, “Well ya, I shop at Zara, H&M and Adidas. I mean I don’t believe in getting my son Gucci or Prada. I am very sorry. He doesn’t earn his own money. His parents work really hard to buy his outfits and you know, my parents never gave me branded clothes till I made my own money. I think both Saif and I are like that.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan had continued, “He can do and wear what he likes but for now, he is wearing what his parents get for him – which is simple clothes.
