It’s been months now since we have been drooling over Taimur Ali Khan speaking in his super-cute voice, be it greeting his media friends with ‘hi’ and ‘bye’, correcting the paparazzi by saying, 'It is Tim' when they addressed him as ‘Taimur’ or chanting ‘Mangal Moorti Morya’ at the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at the Kapoor residence. Apart from being his star family’s aankhon ka taara, baby Tim is also the heart of the nation.
On October 20, 2019, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani had hosted a sunshine-themed birthday bash for their firstborn, Radhya Takhtani and it was a star-studded one with little star-kids from B-town gracing the party. And just like every other bash, Taimur Ali Khan had stolen the limelight at Radhya’s second birthday party with his cute antics. In a video that had gone viral on social media, Taimur could be heard saying ‘Excuse me’ to his mediawale friends, who had blocked the little one’s way to click pictures.
In an interaction with Film Companion, Saif Ali Khan had revealed that his soon-to-be three-year-old son, Taimur Ali Khan had learnt to say ‘No!’ to pictures. He was quoted as saying, “Taimur is very happy, he is the least interested. “No pictures please”, he started saying it as well. He doesn’t like being photographed. Taimur would earlier yell at the photographers, but I told him to be polite, and say ‘please’.”
At the JIO Mami Movie Mela With Star, Kareena Kapoor Khan had revealed that her son, Taimur Ali Khan doesn’t like when she takes his pictures. Elaborating on the same, Bebo had said, “He thinks paps are his friends. On The Love Laugh Live Show, Kareena Kapoor Khan had revealed what a normal evening with hubby, Saif Ali Khan and their tiny tot, Taimur Ali Khan, looks like. Bebo had remarked, "I think both of us, we are very social, but we don't like to go to film parties. He doesn't want to go and watch any trial shows because he is like I can't lie, so obviously he won't go. Not too many friends in the film-film circle, even though it's quite strange because both of us are inherently film-film." Bebo had continued, "So, an average evening is always like he is reading, lots of candles are lit. Our dinner's always early, we like to eat in early so like by 7:30 or 8. In fact 3 times a week, he will be like let's cook, let's have a bottle of wine and chat and that's our kind of catchup with Taimur running around. We are playing with him and sitting."
Sharing what her soon-to-be three-year-old son, Taimur Ali Khan keeps on asking her all day, Kareena Kapoor Khan was quoted as saying, “He keeps asking (imitating the kid’s voice) Abba Kidhar Hai, Abba Kidhar Hai’...like ten times in a day he keeps asking Abba Kidhar Hai. I’m like he is in the bathroom!” Taimur asks his mommy Kareena the sweetest question before she heads out for work, which breaks her heart. Elaborating on the same, Bebo had said, "He says the sweetest thing every day when I have to go to work. 'Amma, don't go.' It just breaks your heart. Sometimes, I just have to slip out without saying bye to him." Reasoning why Taimur calls her 'amma' and Saif 'abba', Kareena retorted, "He can call me whatever he wants. But it's just that Saif and his siblings called their mother (Sharmila Tagore) 'Amma' and their father (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) 'Abba', so it's just like a thing now."
Taimur Ali Khan is one of the most loved star babies on the internet and has totally surpassed his star family’s stardom! He is often clicked during his daily activities which sometimes worries his parents. In an interaction with the Filmfare, Kareena Kapoor Khan had shared that she doesn’t like the paparazzi following Taimur all the time. She had said, “I don’t like that at all, neither does Saif. As parents we are scared. I’d want my son to grow up as normally as possible. Saif’s even more particular about this. He wants Taimur to grow up, away from the eye of the paparazzi and the film scenario. Because Saif himself didn’t grow up in a film atmosphere, although his mother was an actress. His father (the late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) as we know, belonged to the cricketing world. But in today’s time, it’s tough.
