Just like the couples, even their fans excitedly wait for the stork to visit their favourite celebrities and when they announce the same, the happiness knows no bound. Last seen as Shonali in film, 22 Yards (2019) and as Jhanvi Sagar Chaturvedi in Gangaa (2015–16), Panchi Bora has been on cloud nine in her personal life. In 2017, Panchi had walked down the aisle with her longtime beau, Jay Patangia and one year later, they became proud parents to a little angel. Announcing the arrival of her daughter, Panchi had written, “Our lil daughter “miss Riyanna Patangia” already daddy’s girl n mommy’s heartbeat. Thank you for your prayers!! #blessed.”
One-and-a-half-year later, Panchi Bora and Jay Patangia welcomed their second baby and announcing the same on social media, the former wrote, “Ryaan my lil baby!!” Delighting her fans, Panchi not only announced the name of her newborn son but also shared the first picture of him. Cuddled in her mommy’s arms, Ryaan could be seen sleeping as Panchi embraced him.
Announcing the second pregnancy to her fans, Panchi Bora had posted a lovely picture with her husband, Jay Patangia, wherein the then-mommy-to-be could be seen holding her mini-baby bump. She had written along with it, “Blessed #secondpregnancy #comingsoon2019.”
On the occasion of Women’s Day (March 8, 2018), Panchi Bora had posted a super-adorable picture with her daughter, Riyanna, and had captioned it as “48 hours long Labour plus fighting pupps allergy at its worst hmmm we are fighters me and my lil girl!! Happy women’s day to all strong women. Cheers!!”
Sometime back, the #10YearChallenge that went viral on the social media had celebrities posting their then-and-now pictures, and inspiring everyone with how their beauty, career graph and fitness levels had changed in the past decade. Panchi Bora too, had followed the trend and had posted a picture collage with a solo picture and one with her baby cuddled in her arms. Panchi Bora’s husband, Jay Patangia doesn’t belong from the showbiz world and it was an arranged marriage for the couple. After a meeting with the families, Panchi and Jay had instantly felt the connection with each other. Talking about the same, a source close to the couple was earlier quoted as saying, "It was an arranged marriage. The two met and found a connect. Eventually, wedding bells were sounded off."
For their Assamese style wedding, Panchi Bora and Jay Patangia had opted for colour-coordinated ensembles. While Panchi had looked beautiful in a beige-coloured elegant saree which she had teamed up with minimal makeup and sleek gold jewellery, her groom, Jay had looked dapper in a beige-coloured kurta pyjama. Panchi and Jaydeep had celebrated their first wedding anniversary on January 17, 2018. Panchi had taken to her Instagram and posted their couple picture, along with the caption, “And someone in the back.”
In a throwback interview with India Forums, Panchi Bora, when she was preparing for her graduation exams, had revealed that she has no time for love. She had shared, “I am single but not ready to mingle. That's because there's no breathing space for me. Where do I make the time for love? Right now, work and my studies get top priority. I am preparing for my graduation exams. Love can wait for now.” Speaking about her acting career, she had continued, “Acting was not on my mind though I was a complete TV buff. One of my cousins, who's a model, got my portfolio clicked and I ended up doing commercials. During the same time, my friend dragged me to a Balaji audition where I got selected for the show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. Initially, I had refused Kayamath. I wasn't too keen on doing a daily since I was studying then. But Ekta (Kapoor) said she could only visualise me in this role.
