Well, the weekend is over and we all are going through the ‘Monday blues’! But guess who is here to shed away our blues, like always? Internet's baby crush, smiling and cheerful youngest star in B-town, Taimur Ali Khan. Yes, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s little munchkin is once again back to make everyone go crazy over his effortless charm and cuteness. Since, Taimur Ali Khan is a Pataudi, sports is bound to be in his DNA. On August 5, 2018, Taimur was spotted with his father, Saif and the daddy-son duo was out for a game of badminton. While Taimur was dressed in a green t-shirt and a pair of blue denim shorts, Saif went causal with a pair of orange shorts with a dark blue t-shirt. The little one can be seen trying his hands at the badminton game, swinging the racquet against the air and Saif is amused by Taimur’s attempts in this sport.
Did you notice that Taimur’s racquet is bigger than him? Isn’t it adorable? We’re sure these pictures definitely left you with a smile. Taimur even got an instructor for him, other than his daddy Saif. For the uninitiated ones, Taimur Ali Khan’s paternal grandfather, Late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was an Indian cricketer and former captain of the Indian cricket team. And when asked Kareena, what profession she would like to choose for Taimur, she stated, “I wouldn’t want to choose, I hope he chooses.” She then added, “Well, I would want Taimur to be a cricketer.”
When further asked what she would like Taimur to achieve in his career, Kareena retorted, "I would like him to do something with his life and then I would like people to appreciate him. He is still very small and he should actually be given a chance rather than having so much of this kind of pressure that is already on him. It is so scary." Talking about his one-and-a-half-year-old son, Taimur with Hindustan Times earlier, Saif had said, “Taimur will have to be aware that he is being watched all the time. He will have a lot of privileges as well. I think life has a wonderful way to balance it out, so if he has all the wonderful privileges he will also have certain responsibilities. There will be certain expectations out of him. Maybe all that will force him to become an actor. I hope that with the right guidance, maybe he will find his calling in another field.”
In another interview, Saif revealed that Taimur will be sent to a boarding school in England, away from the constant media glare. He was quoted as saying, “He has innocence in his eyes, there is nothing pretentious, but yes I am worried about him. I and Kareena have already discussed the stardom he already has around him and we have decided to send him to a nice boarding school in England. It will hopefully do the trick. It has done for everybody in the family. Kareena is going to be a very good mother. She will not be impressed if he is spoilt.”
Further talking about Taimur’s genetic treasure trove, he shared, “He is a genetic treasure trove, he is. He has got a bit of Rabindranath Tagore, he is a bit of Raj Kapoor, a bit of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, a little bit of Bhopal. It's beyond me. Taimur has just started his life. It's important for us to make sure he grows up to be a balanced person. Hopefully, he will get used to it; I don't think he knows any better.
