It has been more than two months, which to be honest felt like two decades, without our daily dose of happiness, Taimur Ali Khan, ruling our social media timelines. Even though we got our frequent doses of baby Tim’s cuteness from London, where he was vacationing with his star parents, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who were managing their professional and personal fronts like a pro. While Saif had completed his first schedule of the upcoming film, Jawaani Jaaneman, his wife, Kareena juggled between Mumbai and London to fulfil her priorities. The Pataudi-Kapoor trio, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Taimur Ali Khan, had jetted off to Tuscany, Italy on a work-cum-leisure trip on May 31, 2019, and since then, the media, as well as the netizens, have been waiting for the junior Nawab to come back to the bay. And looks like, our prayers have finally been answered.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan along with their not-so-little-anymore prince, Taimur Ali Khan arrived in Mumbai on August 21, 2019. Dressed in a pink and off-white sweatshirt with denim and boots, Bebo redefined the airport look in style. Saif sported a black t-shirt with denim and a sleeveless jacket, complementing his Jawaani Jaaneman look. And junior Nawab, Taimur looked a bundle of cuteness in a white tank top and blue lowes. As soon as he spotted media outside the airport, Taimur greeted them with his new favourite pose by sticking his tongue out and waving his paparazzi friends.
Life has been really hectic and chock-a-block for Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan as they have been managing their work schedules in Mumbai and London respectively, with their personal time in London with son, Taimur Ali Khan. Recently, a picture shared by one of the fan pages of Kareena, had Taimur laughing uncontrollably as his dad, Saif swung him in his arms. While Saif was dressed in a black tee and blue denim, baby Tim was shelling out fashion goals in a blue shirt and ripped denim. The laugh on Taimur’s face, swinging on his father’s arms was a proof of the bond they share and it’s evident how happy they are when together! Post all hectic work schedules and professional commitments, Kareena Kapoor Khan was striving hard to keep pace with her shoots as well as son, Taimur Ali Khan, who was in London with daddy, Saif Ali Khan. About the same, a source close to Bebo had shared with the DNA, “Kareena has always balanced her professional and personal life well. She has a choc-a-block schedule ahead with four big movies coming up. She is likely to shoot for Angrezi Medium either in July-end or August, then there’s Takht and Lal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. Her film, Good News, with Akshay Kumar will release at the end of this year for which the promotions will begin a month before." The source had further added, "She is flying down from London only for a day so that she can spend more time with Taimur. Besides, she endorses 17 brands, so there will be quite a few campaigns that she will be shooting for." Such an amazing mommy, isn’t she?
During an interaction with the Bombay Times, Saif Ali Khan was asked about how he manages to spend time with his family owing to the hectic work schedule. To which, the Sacred Games star had stated, "When I come home after work and find Taimur sleeping, I feel bad. We shoot long hours, but if I haven’t packed up even after 8 pm, I feel uncomfortable because it means taking away time from my son." He had further said, "In my growing-up years, my parents taught me about the importance of respecting family space. My father (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) was a cricketer and mother (Sharmila Tagore) is an actress, and they both had hectic schedules. However, we learnt that it is important to talk about other things, too, at home and that’s how life becomes beautiful."
In an interaction with nutrition expert, Rujuta Diwekar for a Facebook Live session, Kareena Kapoor Khan had mentioned that her two-and-half-year-old son, Taimur Ali Khan is not allowed to have food at the birthday parties. Revealing the main reason behind it, Bebo had shared, “Only (home-cooked food). I am hyper paranoid. He goes to birthday parties and he is not allowed to eat outside. But that’s also wrong but ya...” To which Tim’s abba, Saif Ali Khan added, “He eats chips though.” Kareena had further continued what she serves Taimur, “khichdi, idli dosa... healthy kind of home-cooked food.” She had further added, “So I sit on a plan also. Every month I alternate it accordingly. Whatever fruits and vegetables he should be eating in the month... he quite enjoys it. Today, he actually had saag (spinach) for lunch and he normally didn’t like it but I have been shoving it down his throat. So now he’s got used to it.
