Remember, a few months back, Parineeti Chopra shared in one of her Instagram stories, that both she and Taimur have been spotted wearing similar ‘Ramones’ t-shirt? Sharing an Instagram story, Parineeti wrote, “Twinning with the right guy. Couldn't help posting!” atop the picture, backed by laughing and red-heart emojis. A few days back, Taimur along with his star parents, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan was holidaying at the Pataudi Palace. A picture that went viral on the internet had baby Tim and his mommy, Kareena twin in similar America’s flag-printed sweatshirts! People’s love for this baby Nawab is so much that a Kerala toy company has created Taimur-inspired dolls, which is reportedly in huge demand! Sharing his family’s reaction to the same, a Deccan Chronicle report quoted a source as saying, “She (Sharmila Tagore) was as startled by the emergence of the doll as anyone else. The family is still trying to come to terms with Taimur’s overwhelming popularity. Saif was summoned by his mom (the legendary actress Sharmila Tagore) to discuss the issue. Normally, Sharmilaji is the most non-interfering mother you will find. But now with two-year-old Taimur being constantly in the limelight, she feels some measures must be taken to provide the child a normal life.”
Most of the star kids are sent away to boarding schools, wherein they can lead a normal life, away from the paparazzi. In an earlier interview, Saif spoke about sending Taimur to a boarding school. Therein, he had stated, “Maybe I’ll send him to a boarding school when he is 13. I don’t know, growing up as a star kid, going to the schools of Bandra and Juhu. He needs to see the world.” Very recently, mommy Kareena too, opened up about the same and stated, “They are leaving us with no choice. But of course, as a mother, it would kill me to send him away. And I think it'd be unfair and I tell Saif that it'd be like running away from reality because this is the reality.”
Speaking about Taimur’s popularity, Saif shared in an interview, “I think the whole country loves Taimur. He's a great energy to have around you. He has quite a happening social life, too. Right now, he is not even home, he's gone for his evening time out with friends! He's very busy." Further speaking about constant media attention that Taimur receives, Saif had shared, “Taimur should be freely able to take his evening outing in the park. It becomes difficult in certain situations, but the photographers are really friendly. They are just doing their jobs and they don’t push him or his nanny, which is really kind. They aren’t aggressive so I’m happy.”
Taimur’s daadi, legendary actress, Sharmila Tagore, had once expressed her concern over Taimur’s alarming popularity. Sharing about the same, she had revealed, “I must confess I’m worried about him a bit. We in this family have all had our share of media attention. They place you on a pedestal and then suddenly drop you. At the moment Taimur is not affected because he’s too young to understand what’s going on. But later when he’s older and if the attention is taken away he might get affected. So we are a little concerned. But as Sara said, what can we do about it?
