It is the most wonderful time of the year! When the entire world takes a trip down the memory lane to remember the year gone by and welcome the New Year with lots of joy. Bollywood's power couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan along with their little munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan jetted off to London to ring in the New Year. Recently, we shared with you a picture of how baby Tim was enjoying his day out with the family. In case you missed it, take a look:
And now we got hold of our little Tim-Tim’s skiing picture from Gstaad, Switzerland, and it melted our heart! Taimur went on his first skiing with mommy, Kareena and daddy, Saif Ali Khan. The family looked adorable posing for the picture before a fun-filled long day. Saif twinned with Taimur in a black bomber jacket while Bebo looked ultra-glamorous in a mustard jacket. Before the skiing fever took over our baby Tim, he tried his hands on riding a bicycle and we must say he was a pro, just kidding! We shared our favourite munchkin's first picture from the vacation where he is riding a bicycle. He looked super-cute in a blue and grey zipper sweatshirt with side-parted hair.
In a throwback interview with Mid-day, Kareena revealed her journey of being a mother. She said, “Being a mother feels great. This will be the best phase of my life. The only thing that I have realised in the past month is that my heart is not in me anymore. It's beating outside of me. Seeing your baby and holding it in your arms is the best feeling in the world, and he [Taimur] holds my heartbeat now. Everything in life revolves around him. I managed to take out some time for the [fashion] show. Yes, my sleep timings have gone haywire, but the feeling of being a mom is so worth it. She further revealed how Saif is a pro in handling father duties and said, “He is an amazing father. He is absolutely hands-on and has a hang of things because he has done it before. Saif is a pro and does everything without any help. You know, there is an intensity with which Taimur looks at him, unlike me. They have already bonded.”
In an earlier interview, Saif revealed how he is trying to inculcate values in little Taimur. He had said, “You have to sit him down, the minute he can understand it. And it'll start with calling the people at home and not yelling. It'll be manners, it'll be Please, Thank You, Aadaab. It'll be discipline from a young age. At least we know these things. These Bombay kids are out of control. He'll be very well behaved. And honestly, if he does his namaste right, he'll score points. Have you seen Sara's aadaab when she was younger? This is it. This is what we need, a nice aadaab from Tim. Tim by the way.”
Revealing how travel has changed for them ever since Taimur’s birth and what kind of holidays they take and the experiences they want their little one to have, Saif shared in an interview with Conde Nast Traveller, “Despite having the idea of trying different things, we’ve ended up (and my wife is quite annoyed about this) going to the same places and doing the same things every year—London in summer, Gstaad in winter, with some parts of India, like Rajasthan and Pataudi, in between. We would have liked to go to more places in Italy and France—and we will. But you know, there is also something comforting about going to the same places, because the people know you and the hotel feels like home. With Taimur, we also end up travelling with a bit of an entourage. We never travelled light, but after Taimur, we travel even heavier."
