Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has finally married Danish badminton coach Mathias Boe in an extremely intimate affair. For the uninitiated, the duo met each other at the inaugural Indian Badminton League in 2013, and love blossomed between them. Soon, Taapsee and Mathias' families met, and the couple got a green signal to date each other. Despite dating each other for over a decade, Taapsee and Mathias managed to keep details about their love life under wraps.
According to a report in News18 Showsha, it has been revealed that Taapsee Pannu has tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend, Mathias Boe. The couple had an intimate wedding on March 23, 2024. which was attended by their families and close friends. A source close to the couple said:
“The wedding took place in Udaipur and was an extremely intimate affair. The pre-wedding festivities kick-started on March 20. The couple was very sure that they didn’t want any media attention on their big day. Both of them are known to be very private and reserved people and they wouldn’t have had it any other way.”

The source further added that Taapsee's wedding was not attended by too many popular faces from Bollywood as the actress wanted only her close friends to be a part of her wedding ceremony. Pavail Gulati, Anurag Kashyap, Kanika Dhillon and others reportedly flew to Udaipur to be a part of Taapsee's special day. The source was quoted as saying:
“Taapsee’s Dobaaraa and Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati joined the guests at her and Mathias’ wedding. Anurag Kashyap, who shares a rather close bond with Taapsee and has directed her in films like Manmarziyaan and Dobaara and produced Saand Ki Aankh also flew to Udaipur.”
The report also mentioned that writer, Kanika Dhillon, who has worked with Taapsee on Haseen Dillruba, Manmarziyaan, Dunki, and Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, and her husband, Himanshu Sharma, also attended the actress' big day. On March 23, 2024, Kanika also shared a series of pictures on her Instagram handle, wherein she was seen dressed in a pastel-hued saree. However, it was her hashtag, ‘#MereYaarKiShaadi’ which hinted that the pictures were apparently from Taapsee and Mathias’ wedding.

Pavail Gulati also dropped a photo on her Instagram handle, which featured Taapsee’s sister, Shagun Pannu, her cousin, Evania Pannu, close friend, Abhilash Thapliyal and badminton player, Chirag Shetty. While Pavail didn't mention that the pictures were from Taapsee's wedding, the comments on the post were enough to prove the same. Reacting to the post, Abhilash commented, "IYKYK", while another netizen penned, "Congrats coach".
