Sykkuno's Close Friend Valkyrae Breaks Silence On His Cheating Scandal, 'I Didn't Know He Had A GF'

Thomas, aka 'Sykkuno', has been in the middle of a firestorm following the brutal expose document shared by HemomalVT, wherein he was labelled a "serial cheater" for his alleged pattern of dating multiple women while being with a long-time girlfriend. While the 34-year-old so-called 'no-drama' and 'wholesome' creator has yet to respond to the controversy publicly, the internet has received a response from fellow streamer Valkyrae, aka 'RAE', known to be one of Sykkuno's closest friends. 

What Rae said in her response has left the streaming community with even more questions than answers. Did she just say she didn't know about Sykkuno's live-in girlfriend?

Valkyrae breaks her silence on the cheating allegations against Sykkuno

Valkyrae is often described as one of Sykkuno's closest friends, and at one point, the two had moved in together in an apartment. Amid the growing backlash against Sykkuno, the 34-year-old Twitch star addressed the situation during a recent stream, making it clear that she had spoken to him privately. She started out by saying:

"I did talk to Sykkuno... He did tell me everything... I should not have tweeted that I was disappointed... because it just gave a lot of ammo to a lot of angry people."

Despite walking back her earlier tweet, Rae didn't hide her feelings. Speaking about how she expressed her take to Sykkuno himself, she mentioned that Thomas knew she was going to speak about it on livestream. The streamer repeatedly stated that she was disappointed about her friend, while simultaneously mentioning her own controversial past, saying, "I have been with a lot of my friends in the past, and I'm sure I've also been disappointing.” 

While maintaining a supportive tone, Valkyrae made it clear where she stands on the issue itself. She did not hold back when she directly acknowledged the numerous allegations floating around about Sykkuno. She labelled the 34-year-old VTuber as a 'cheater' and apologised to all the women who fell victim to his pattern over the years. She said:

"He's a cheater... we talked, he's gonna figure things out... I hope for the best and I'm so sorry to all of those involved... Cheating is bad, a selfish act. It hurts ppl. I think it's a normal thing to be disappointed... he really needs to talk to the ppl that were involved."

Valkyrae says she had no idea about Sykkuno's girlfriend

One of the biggest revelations from Valkyrae’s response was her claim that she was unaware of Sykkuno’s alleged long-term relationship. The statement has since become one of the most discussed moments in the ongoing controversy, with fans wondering if it was an attempt to distance herself from the accusations. She was heard saying:

"No, I did not know he had a girlfriend,  which led to my tweet... because I thought my tweet was going to make it clear that I didn't know... but apparently me tweeting that caused a lot of distress."

The controversy around Sykkuno erupted on April 10, 2026, after VTuber HemomalVT accused him of being a “serial cheater and manipulator.” In a viral document backed by screenshots and alleged receipts, she claimed he maintained multiple overlapping relationships while hiding a long-term girlfriend. While unverified, the claims have divided the internet.

In 2020, a user named Lena made similar allegations against Sykkuno, claiming they dated from 2015 to 2018. She shared alleged screenshots and described his off-camera personality as “fake, toxic, selfish, manipulative, and emotionally abusive.” However, her claims were largely dismissed at the time by his loyal fanbase, gaining little traction online.
