And now, the actress has finally taken the wedding plunge and has married the man of her dreams, and popular Samajwadi Party state youth president, Fahad Ahmed. Under the Special Marriage Act, the duo had opted for a hush-hush registered court marriage on February 16, 2023.

Within a few hours of their marriage announcement, the couple got attacked by a mob of trollers who had pulled out an old tweet of Swara Bhasker. The tweet, a birthday wish for Fahad, had the actress addressing him as her ‘bhai’, along with a picture of the duo. Netizens began to mock the couple as they questioned the actress for marrying her brother. The viral tweet had the following note, which can be read as:
“Happy birthday Fahad Miyan! May brother's confidence remain intact :) @FahadZirarAhmad Be happy, be settled. You are getting old, get married now! Have a great birthday & a fantastic year friend!”
As a small Twitter interaction blew out of proportion within days after their marriage, the doting hubby, Fahad Ahmed, finally reacted to the viral tweet as he defended his now-wifey, Swara Bhasker’s tweet. Taking to his Twitter handle, Fahad hit back at the trollers and called it a fun joke between a husband and wife. In his words:
“Jokes a part sanghiyon ne yeh to maana hindu-muslim bhai behen ho sakte hai. Bas yeh aur maan lo pati patni mazak bhi kar sakte hai.”

While the couple might have opted for a hush-hush court marriage, they made their marriage announcement Insta-official. Taking to her IG handle on February 16, 2023, Swara shared a heartwarming video featuring all the couple's special moments so far. Along with the video, the actress penned a sweet note, which could be read as:
“Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart It’s chaotic but it’s yours!"

For the unversed, the duo met at the common Anti-CAA protest rally and hit off instantly as good friends. The actress revealed that their relationship grew over the course of discussing their tweets.
