The world says there is a time set for everyone to leave God's big play called life and time will heal every goodbye. But neither time nor any words can heal the pain of losing someone. A loss is a loss and no words or time can ever repair it, we only start to live with it. And late Bollywood actor, Irrfan Khan's wife, Sutapa Sikdar is going through the same phase. Just like her, we all will never be able to forget the harsh summers of 2020 when we lost the Indian cinema's gem, Irrfan. April of 2020 was the saddest month for the Bollywood industry as we had lost two shining stars of the cinema world, Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. It was on April 29, 2020, our hearts were left deserted just like the deserted roads due to the nationwide lockdown. At the mere age of 53, Irrfan had left the world as he had taken his last breath at Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital. His dialogue, 'Main tha, main hoon, aur main hi rahunga' from his film, Haider, is a perfect way to describe his extraordinary life.
On June 4, 2020, Sutapa took to her Facebook account and posted a couple of throwback pictures of him. Alongside it, she wrote an emotional note that can be read as "Thank you soooo much I hear you ...yes I know it's from you to me and it touched my body and soul.. Between the two realms we have the rain connecting us." Check it out below:
Its been a month since Irrfan said goodbye to this materialistic world for the heavenly abode. His wife, Sutapa had taken to her Facebook account and had shared rare pictures of him along with a heart-wrenching note. The star wife had quoted Rumi and had written, "Out beyond ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing there is a field. I'll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about." It's just a matter of time...milenge baaten karenge. Till we meet again."
A day after Irrfan's death, on April 30, 2020, the actor's wife, Sutapa Sikdar had penned her last goodbyes for the great soul. She had shared an unseen picture with Irrfan, wherein she could be seen hugging him. She had posted the image as her profile picture on the social media networking site. Along with it, she had written, "I have not lost I have gained in every which way." Indeed, a beautiful way to bid farewell to the love of her life." We remember how once the legendary actor, Irrfan had shared an emotional tweet on his Twitter handle that had revealed about his rare disease. He had described his fight with the words that could be read as "Sometimes you wake up with a jolt with life-shaking you up. The last fifteen days, my life has been a suspense story. Little had I known that my search for rare stories would make me find a rare disease. I have never given up and have always fought for my choices and always will. My family and friends are with me and we are working it out the best way possible. In trying times, please don't speculate as I will myself share with you my story within a week - ten days when the further investigations come with a conclusive diagnosis. Till then, wish the best for me! – Irrfan." (Don't Miss: 'Chachu' Varun Dhawan Helps 2-Year Old Niece Cut Her Quarantine Birthday Cake, She Loves Him Back)
