A home is not just made with bricks and cement, instead, it is created with love, memories and warmth of the people residing in it. We have often been fascinated by celeb homes but what if the celeb is an interior designer herself. Yes, the celebrity in question is none other than Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife, Sussanne Khan. From putting tasteful and antique art pieces at her best friend, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl’s Juhu home to exclusively designing Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra’s sea-facing bungalow, ‘Kinara’ in Mumbai, Sussanne is the best in the business.
On September 25, 2020, Sussanne Khan took to her IG handle and shared a virtual tour of her humble abode. She collaborated with the popular magazine, Architectural Digest India, Sussanne gave her fans a glimpse of her beautiful high-rise ‘nest’ in Juhu. Designed all by herself, Sussanne’s nest, as she lovingly calls it is a mix of modern, antique and glam designs. Sharing a glimpse of her ‘labor of love’, she wrote, “Here I welcome you all, to visit my nest, thanks to @archdigestindia @greg.foster for taking the time to take a virtual walk through of the most important ‘labor of love’ that I have created.” While her friends from the industry couldn’t stop praising her beautiful house, her ex-hubby, Hrithik Roshan’s comment was unmissable. He wrote, “Amazing. And that kitchen.” To which Sussanne replied, “@hrithikroshan thank you so much Rye.”
Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan had mutually ended their relationship of over 14 years in 2014. Since then, Hrithik and Sussanne have been co-parenting their kids, Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan. Because of the COVID-19 quarantine, Sussanne had moved in her ex-husband, Hrithik’s home to co-parent their kids during the phase. Acknowledging how Sussanne had graciously volunteered to temporarily move-in to his home, Hrithik had penned down a beautiful note. Hrithik had written, “It is unimaginable for me, as a parent, to think of having to be separated from my children at a time when the country is practising lockdowns.” (Also Read: Shilpa Shetty Kundra Shares A Glimpse Of Her Date Night With Hubby, Raj Kundra At Home)
Speaking of the meaning of ‘coming together’ for parents sharing the custody of their kids, Hrithik Roshan’s note had continued, “It is heartwarming to see the world come together as one in this time of deep uncertainty and possibility of months of social distancing and potential lockdowns for several weeks perhaps. While the world talks about humanity coming together, I think it represents more than just an idea especially for parents sharing custody of their kids. How to keep their kids close to them without infringing on the right of the other who also has an equal right to be with his/her children.”
Thanking Sussanne Khan for temporarily moving out of her home to co-parent their kids, Hrithik Roshan’s note ended with “This is a picture of dear Sussanne (my ex wife), who has graciously volunteered to temporarily move out of her home so that our children are not disconnected indefinitely from either one of us. Thank you Sussanne for being so supportive and understanding in our journey of co-parenting. Our children will tell the story we create for them. I hope and pray that in order to safeguard the health of ourselves and our loved ones, we all find our way to express love, empathy, courage, strength with an open heart. #beopen #bekind #bebrave #responsibility #coexist #empathy #strength #courage #oneworld #humanity #wecanfighththis #loveoverfear.” (Also Read: Anita Hassanandani Shares A 'Shayari' For Hubby, Rohit As He Gives Her A 'Phool' For His 'Bhool')
