No matter how strong a father tends to be, his heart always softens in front of his daughter. A girl might outgrow her daddy's lap, but she never outgrows his heart. A father is always ready to protect his angel from anything - whether it is the bullies at the school or the monster under the bed. He might not have ever heard a lullaby in his life, but for his baby girl, he will happily recite them. And an exactly similar relationship is shared between Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar and his little daughter, Nitara Kumar. Before we take you further into the story, let us take a look at Akshay Kumar's 'happily ever after' with his wife, Twinkle Khanna and kids, Aarav Kumar and Nitara Kumar. Akshay is a superstar, but it is his role as a father that makes him complete. There have been millions of times when the actor had shared with the world that how blessed he is to have a family to go to. He takes immense pride in spending time with his family more than doing his action sequence. He believes in cherishing every moment with them.
On September 25, 2020, Akshay's little daughter, Nitara celebrated her birthday, and the actor got emotional. To make his daughter's day special, Akshay took to his Instagram handle and shared a beautiful picture with his little angel. Alongside it, the super cute daddy poured his heart out in a note, which can be read as "As much as everyone would like to see the back of 2020, I wish this moment, this year, this chance to spend so much time with my kids would last forever, these opportunities are my Silver Lining to 2020. Happy 8th Birthday to my Princess, my Happiness, my Reason to still be a Big Kid. I love my baby girl more than I knew was possible." Check it out below:
Twinkle Khanna also penned a note for her baby girl. She took to her Instagram handle and posted two pictures of Nitara. In the first picture, we can see the little girl holding a book, and in the other, we can see her jumping with joy. Alongside it, Twinkle wrote, "My little one turns 8! Along with all the strange and wonderful bits and bobs that seem to permeate her universe, the first copy of our children’s book-When I Grow Up I Want To Be.. has also been presented to her-for a review. I don’t know what she wants to be when she grows up, all I know is that it’s happening too fast." Akshay often tries to spend as much time as he can with his little girl, Nitara. From early morning walks to flying kites, the 'papa bear' in Akshay is always on duty. Once, he had shared a valuable practical lesson to his daughter. He had walked into an old couple's home to get some water and they had served the father-daughter duo more than just water. The father-daughter duo had clicked pictures with them, and had written, "Today’s morning walk turned into a life lesson for the little one. We walked into this kind, old couple’s house for a sip of water and they made us the most delicious gur-roti. Truly, being kind costs nothing but means everything!"
Akshay loves his daddy duties, but he knows that managing a baby on his own is quite difficult. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, he had shared how difficult it is to handle a six-year-old girl and had said, "My wife (Twinkle Khanna) is touring Europe, my son Aarav is in Oxford for a two-week study course so I'm babysitting my daughter Nitara besides shooting for a film (Reema Kagti's sports-drama Gold). And I have to confess that minding a little girl is a tough job. My admiration for Mrs Funnybones has gone up several notches after realising the magnitude of the task. I don't know how she writes, designs looks after our children and still manages to stay calm on most days."
