She had won many hearts when at the mere age of 25, she had decided to adopt her first child, Renee in the year 2000. In 2009, the enchantress had surprised all her fans when she had decided to adopt her second child, Alisah. Whenever there is a mention of her daughters, Sushmita had always stated that both her daughters are born from her heart. In a video interview with film critic, Rajeev Masand, Sushmita Sen revealed that she is not very keen in cooking and rather praised her beau, Rohman Shawl’s culinary skills. She also stated that her cooking is just limited to bread and eggs and said, “It’s never been my thing. Never ever, though I know how to make anda bread and have made it for my daughter. Rohman got lucky once.” She further stated how Rohman is a great cook and retorted, “But I think Rohman is better in the kitchen. He is amazing with cooking. I don’t know how he does it but his eggs are better than what I cook and he makes the world’s most incredible coffee. Renee cooks really well. Alisah is not allowed, but if she were given an opportunity, she would do rather well. I have other gifts.”
Sushmita and Rohman's love story had first grabbed the headlines when she had posted a lovey-dovey caption giving a major hint to fans and followers about Cupid revisiting her life. On December 28, 2019, Sushmita had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a beautiful picture with Rohman. Alongside it, she had written the lines of her favourite shayari that can be read as "Hum kisise khushiyan mange yeh hame manzoor nahi, mangi huyi khushiyon se kiska bhala hota hai... jitna apni takdeer mein likha hai woh zaroor ata hota hai."
On April 16, 2020, Sushmita had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a picture of herself doing a yoga pose. The balancing pose was given as a challenge to her by Rohman. The diva had nailed the pose effortlessly and it was Rohman’s comment that was unmissable. Along with the picture, Sushmita had written, “So @rohmanshawl challenged me to attempt this balancing #yogapose. Guess who’s always up for a challenge!! #yourstruly of course!! wanna try?
