We Indians don't possess the necessary patience and composure, which is required to stay at home without having the option of going out. This is the reason people are going crazy in this indefinite lockdown period. While some resort to social media to kill time, some have taken an oath to learn something new, work on themselves and emerge a better person after this self-imposed quarantine. Strangely, a lot of people, who claim to be introverted, who liked being home and don't like going out, socializing with people, even they're having an existential crisis dealing with this quarantine. The human mind is a strange thing, it repels our own choices when they become compulsion! Even our Tinseltown celebrities are having a hard time coping with the social distancing fiasco. Locked up in mansions, with nothing better to do than to interact with their fans, or make videos of how they're spending their quarantined time, celebrities have made social media a weapon to shield themselves against the demon of boredom, unleashed by the lockdown. Bollywood actress, Sushmita Sen is spending quality time with her boyfriend, Rohman Shawl and her daughters, Renee and Alisah, in the lockdown.
Sushmita had taken to her Instagram and shared an adorable video, where she asks her boyfriend, Rohman, and her younger daughter, Alisah, how are they liking this quarantine time. To which, Alisah gives some philosophical and goofy insights to maintain a balance! Sushmita could also be seen teasing both of them by calling them camera conscious. The video starts with Rohman and Alissa introducing themselves when Alisah takes a short pause before saying her name, to which Sushmita replies, "Oh you have to remember your name?" To which Rohman says, "This is called being camera conscious." Sushmita then retorts, "Guess what, there are two of them with the same problem!" After which Alisah frantically tries to prove that it's not her, but Rohman who's camera conscious.
Sushmita then goes on to ask how's the quarantine treating them, to which Alisah gives a very subtle answer, "Boring. See I'll tell you something, what happens is we all think like let's all stay at home, this and that, but it's very boring at home after you spend a certain amount of time. Like Saturday, Sunday is fine...." And then goes on to rant about how this quarantine has her spending all weekdays at home itself, and how boring and full of work her online classes are. She further reveals she's pissed because she couldn't go and meet her friends, to which Sushmita replies, "Ah! So That's the actual problem!" Sushmita further pans the camera towards her elder daughter Renee, and she says, "I am doing something super exciting which is, writing my first ever script!" Have a look at the video here.
Sushmita Sen in a fun gesture had also uploaded a picture of 'Corona Virus cure pills' on the bottles of which, it said, "STAY HOME". She had posted the picture with the caption, "#important while we are home, please don’t self medicate without checking with a doctor. The following information is for you & your families to be aware...do check with your doctors before taking my word for it!! “Just got this from Cornell: FYI: Information from Vienna’s laboratory studying COVID-19 say vast majority of people who died had ibuprofen in their system so do not take it!! Those who recovered did not take ibuprofen so if you have symptoms, take Paracetamol only!!! Looks like this virus thrives on ibuprofen so don’t do it and tell everyone you can!!! There are a few articles online
No Ibuprofens or any NSAIDS (Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs).#stayhome #avoidselfmedication #checkwithdoctorfirst. I love you guys!!"
Let us not forget, in times of this crisis, that it is of utmost importance to be calm and patient, take care of ourselves and our family members, follow the rules and regulations, maintain harmony and help those who are in dire need of help.
