It was on May 04, 2019, when then rumoured lovebirds, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa had finally confirmed their relationship and just a month later, they were pronounced as husband and wife. On June 7, 2019, Rajeev and Charu had tied the knot in a court ceremony and had announced it two days later. Sharing the first pictures from their court wedding, Charu had written, “I Charu Asopa take Rajeev Sen as my lawful husband #rajakibittu”, while Rajeev captioned them, “I Rajeev sen take Charu asopa as my lawful wife #rajakibittu”.
Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa are now all set to walk down the aisle in a grand ceremony in Goa on June 16, 2019. And the groom is already on his way to meet his bride in Goa, who is eagerly waiting for him. Also, the groom’s family including his father, Shubeer Sen, sister, Sushmita Sen with beau, Rohman Shawl and her kids, Renee and Alisah left for Goa to attend Rajeev and Charu’s wedding.
Just a few days ago, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa had shared a picture of the note as their Instagram stories, revealing the special gift his sister, Sushmita Sen had given them on their court marriage. While Rajeev wrote atop his story, “Beautiful msg from my sister to Charu & Me for our 7th of June court wedding”, and Charu had written, “Thank you didi @sushmitasen47 Love u loads” followed by heart emojis.
Sushmita Sen’s note could be read as, “Dear Charu & Rajeev, Congratulations on your wedding day! May God always bless your union and gift you the courage to honour this beautiful commitment! Thank you for giving me the privilege to dress you both for your wedding ceremony. A moment and memory I will cherish forever!! Here’s to your happiness and prosperity together. Revealing the wedding plans, Charu Asopa had shared earlier, "We will have a destination wedding in Goa on June 16. The theme of the wedding is ‘Royal traditional’ so everything will be in that style. Functions will be engagement on 14th, followed by sangeet and mehendi on June 15 and haldi and wedding on June 16. We are getting married in both Bengali and Rajasthani style and rituals as Rajeev is a Bengali and I am a Rajasthani."
Rajeev Sen had revealed that his sister, Sushmita Sen is also quite excited about the wedding, "In fact, she has been the one working hard for the preparations. My sister is the most excited about my wedding with Charu. She has been working very hard day and night to make things happen, as we don’t have much time at all. June 16 could only happen because of my sister, mom and dad. It’s never easy to do things at the last minute. I am very blessed."
When Charu Asopa had said, ‘Yes’ to her beau, Rajeev Sen, it was his elated sister, Sushmita Sen who had shared the happy news with the fans.
