Recently, Surbhi Jyoti attended a baby shower ceremony of FitZup couple, Sunny Arora and Ananya Arora. Sharing pictures with the parents-to-be, maasi-to-be Surbhi wrote, “Congratulations @sunnyboy.26 @ananyaarora2013 you guys are gonna be fantastic parents”. Captioning another set of pictures from the ceremony, Surbhi wrote, “Maasi to be with mommy to be @ananyaarora2013 #babyarora #babyshower”. In 2017, rumours had it that Surbhi Jyoti is madly in love with her Qubool Hai co-star, Varun Toorkey and they are in a relationship. Surbhi and Varun had met on the sets of the show and instantly hit off. In 2019, Surbhi and Varun’s relationship grabbed the headlines yet again, when they took to their respective Instagram handles and posted pictures from similar frames with each other. While Varun Toorkey shared a photo wherein, he can be seen making a puppy face and Surbhi Jyoti is smiling ear-to-ear, the latter posted a similar picture, wherein, both of them are happily smiling for the selfie. Varun captioned his post as, “Homecoming.....! #permanentlyfavourite", to which the actress replied, "How do you always come up with best captions?" Surbhi captioned her post, “Hello there Toorkistan @varuntoorkey #friendsforlife #myfavourite.” Both the posts were followed by heart emoticons.
However, Surbhi Jyoti and Varun Toorkey have time and again refuted their linkup rumours. In a throwback interview, Varun had stated, “I don't think people should speculate about my relationship with Surbhi. It's personal and people should leave us alone. Also, why should I tell anyone if I am dating someone or not?”
Sharing the similar views, Surbhi Jyoti too, was quoted as saying, “None of that is true. There have been reports of me dating Karan Singh Grover and Karanvir Bohra too. I am just done with these dating things.” Further sharing how she has stopped caring about the dating rumours, Surbhi had stated, “I just ignore it. I am so careless when it comes to my personal life because no one has any right to judge me or my personal life.”
Before Surbhi Jyoti, Varun Toorkey was allegedly dating his Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein co-star, Ishani Sharma. Speaking about the same and dismissing all linkup rumours, Ishani had shared in an interview, “Varun is a great co-star and an even better friend. He helped me a lot in my initial days in Mumbai. Apart from being a co-star, he is also an adviser, counsellor and a good companion who I was lucky to find here. In our line we are always linked up with our immediate co-star and people love when something is on between the main protagonists. These are mere rumours and I want to clarify that we are just friends.”
Even Surbhi Jyoti was rumoured to be dating actor, Sumit Suri and regarding the same, a source had revealed, “They like each other a lot and have been together for almost four months now.” While other sources revealed, “Surbhi has reduced socialising, and spends most of her free time with Sumit. He, too, makes sure that he keeps himself free for her. They want to keep their relationship discreet. However, their friends know about their closeness.” The report also stated that “Surbhi was heard telling her friends that she finds Sumit not just good-looking, but also a wonderful human being, who is different from the ‘typical television crowd’.” However, no confirmation came from the ‘alleged’ lovebirds.
