Surbhi Chandna is gearing up for the next big step of her life, as she will soon get married to her beau, Karan Sharma. The couple has locked on their wedding date on March 1-4, 2024, and will have a destination wedding in Rajasthan. For the unversed, the duo has been in a relationship of almost 13 years, and it was back in September 2023 when they got rokafied. And now, merely days before her wedding, the actress made a startling claim.
Taking to her IG handle on February 29, 2024, Surbhi Chandna dropped a bunch of pictures from her gala bachelorette bash, arranged by her best friends. In the pictures we can spot the soon-to-be bride enjoying special moments with her BFF's, including Mansi Srivastava, Shrenu Parikh, Mreenal Deshraj, Kunal Jaisingh and his wifey, Bharti, among others. In the first few snapshots, Surbhi gave a glimpse of her OOTN, and she looked sexy in a floral-printed dress featuring a thigh-high slit. She kept her tresses open, opted for subtle makeup and wore a bride-to-be sash.

The following pictures featured Surbhi's candid moments with her besties. From dancing her heart out on the dance floor to cutting a special cake, the actress enjoyed some memorable moments ahead of her wedding. Speaking about the scrumptious cake that her gang had arranged, it looked delectable as it featured a bride in a white gown. Nevertheless, its highlight was the special witty caption that was etched on top of it, which can be read as:
"Shukr karo ho gaya."
Currently, the soon-to-be bride, Surbhi Chandna is busy with the promotions of her upcoming web-series, Rakshak India’s Braves-Chapter 2. Moreover, at the same time, she is equally involved in her wedding preparations, that has been simultaneously going on in full swing. In a recent interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Surbhi talked about the same and shockingly revealed how she isn’t really interested in getting married. Explaining more, the diva remarked that her partner, Karan understands her dislike for elaborate wedding ceremonies, and she was fine with just a court marriage. In her words:
“Can I be very honest? I have a very sweet partner who’s been around even when I was not even an actor. He’s been with me and I feel that he understands that I’m not interested in getting married but I’m doing this wedding because he is the only son for his parents. If I have the power, I would do a court marriage.”
Moving further in the conversation, Surbhi revealed that since she doesn’t like an extravagant affair for her wedding, hence it has been planned in an intimate manner, with only close friends and family in attendance. She shared that her Punjabi wedding would spread across just two days, and adds that she has always prioritised her work over anything else, and would continue to promote her work even amidst her wedding festivities. Moreover, Surbhi remarked that her wedding is nothing but a namesake ceremony for her. She further mentioned:
“That’s why I kept it very intimate. Yes, there’s no such thing as an ‘intimate wedding’ in Punjabi but I’m doing a very short two-day affair. For me, work comes first and he understands that. I have told the makers that I’ll come to every promotion, function, parties amidst the wedding. I’m very brutally honest about this that for me work comes first and he totally understands that. Plus, we have been together for 13 years which is practically being married. It’s just that we’re doing a ceremony for namesake and that’s about it. I’m excited about it, I hope so because it has not kicked in yet. I think it will kick in once I see myself in mangalsutra and sindoor and be like ‘Oh my god, I’m married.”
Earlier, in an interaction with a leading daily, Surbhi Chandna talked about why she has been still involved with the promotions of her upcoming show, amid her wedding preparations. To this, the diva credited her beau, Karan Sharma and claimed that it is he who has been looking after all the wedding preparations. Moreover, she asserted that all arrangements have been going on perfectly well in the backend, even though she hasn’t been present there in person.

Previously, while speaking with ETimes, Surbhi Chandna had revealed that in her relationship of over 13 years with her beau, Karan Sharma, the latter has never really proposed to her romantically for wedding. She added that it was an organic decision for them, and they were just happy to hop onto the next stage of their relationship. She mentioned:
“There was no romantic wedding proposal after 13 years, we are just happy to be getting married. To consistently keep a relationship going in this fast-paced world is not easy. So, I give credit to Karan for that, he is a blessing in my life.”
