Sunny Kaushal is a rising star of Gen Z in Bollywood and he has indeed come a long way since his debut, Sunshine Music Tours And Travels in 2016. Younger brother of actor, Vicky Kaushal, Sunny has impeccably carved his own stardom and is recognised popularly for his handsome looks and terrific acting chops. For the unversed, Sunny belongs to what can be termed as a totally filmy family. While his father, Sham Kaushal is an eminent action director in Hindi cinema, he along with his brother, Vicky Kaushal and bhabhi, Katrina Kaif are bonafide actors in Bollywood. In a recent interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Sunny Kaushal talked about the similarities of challenges he has noticed between his mom, Veena Kaushal and sister-in-law, Katrina Kaif. In his words:
“I can’t compare mom and Katrina that way because mom’s world has always been small. It was limited to me, Vicky (Vicky Kaushal) and dad (Sham Kaushal) and her siblings. She has always found happiness in that. Whereas Katrina, because of the work she does, because in this profession you travel so much, you meet so many people…so comparing them would not be the ideal answer in this situation. They both come from very different worlds and they have seen different worlds. To ask if they have any similarities? I don’t know and that’s my answer.”

Previously, in an interaction with News18, Sunny Kaushal opened up about the kind of equation he shares with his sister-in-law, Katrina Kaif. He remarked that the latter is a deeply spiritual person who influenced him to find an altogether new perspective in his life. Sunny also mentioned the fun banter amidst serious conversations that he frequently has with Katrina. He said:
“She’s a deeply spiritual person. She loves talking about spirituality and so do I. So, we’ve some very interesting conversations. Since the time I started talking to her about all these things, I’ve gained a different perspective on them. But on the other hand, I also love having a fun banter with her.”
While they may be actors in the same field, but back at home, Katrina Kaif shares the most unique equation with her fun loving devar, Sunny Kaushal. While their public appearances and frequent social media banter are a proof of the same, it was once when Sunny revealed the sweetest thing that his bhabhi did for him, thereby winning his heart. In an earlier interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sunny Kaushal divulged that Katrina Kaif gifted him a hyper realistic sneaker shaped cake on his birthday, since she knew about his fetish for sneakers.

Back in the days right after his brother, Vicky Kaushal’s wedding with Katrina Kaif, Sunny Kaushal, in an interview with The Times Of India, opened up about how he felt after the beautiful addition of his bhabhi at his home. Giving the most beautiful response ever, the actor said:
“It's pretty cool. She is such a nice and positive person. She is just a very positive energy to come. It's a very nice feeling to have a new member in the family. She is very very grounded."
