We all love to celebrate the special day of our loved ones. We start planning surprises almost a month in advance and look out for the most fun and quirky way to make their birthday special. From a surprise birthday party to a special birthday wish, we brainstorm everything under the roof, just to make the day memorable. It is often a sister’s task to arrange everything and look out for the unique ways, but in some cases, brothers outshine too and that makes the birthday even more special. Vicky Kaushal is one such lucky brother, whose younger brother, Sunny has made his best attempt to wish him on his 32nd birthday. Vicky Kaushal has turned 32 today and due to the lockdown, like everyone else, he too is locked in his house and is spending time with his parents and brother, Sunny Kaushal. In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, Vicky was asked about his birthday plans, to which he had revealed how much he misses the good golden days of his childhood when there were no cell phones or cameras to record the home birthday parties and were free from the pressure to post them. He had explained, “There were no cell phones to take selfies and record the event, nor peer pressure to post them. It was just about having a good time with friends. Those simple days from my childhood are special.” Well, it seems, his younger brother had listened to him quite carefully and got his idea for the birthday wish.
On May 16, 2020, Sunny Kaushal made sure to take his brother, Vicky back to the good golden childhood days on the occasion of his birthday. He posted a series of four pictures, starting off from their extreme childhood to their adolescent stage and then growing into their dapper selves. Sunny made sure to make his brother realise that nothing has changed between them and their life, despite the change in their height and turning ‘very cool’ from ‘cool’. Along with the series of pictures, Sunny’s birthday wish can be read as “Kuch nahi badla… Photo paper se phone- par aa gayi, baaki kuch nahi badla… tu 2 feet 6 se 6 feet 2 ho gaya, baaki kuch nahi badla… hum pehle cool the aaj very cool hain, baaki kuch nahi badla… main left tha, tu right hai. Dekh, kuch nahi badla… Janamdin Mubarak ho brother @vickykaushal09, dher sara pyaar” followed by a heart emoticon. Take a look at this super sweet birthday wish below.
Coming back to the interview, Vicky was asked about his birthday plans in lockdown as it will be for the first time. On which, the actor had revealed that he likes working on birthdays and if there was no coronavirus pandemic as well, then also he would’ve been working with the director, Karan Johar on their next project that is a periodic drama, Takht. However, he admitted that he’s not complaining and instead quite grateful for having a house to live in these circumstances, pointing on the sad reality that there are tons of people out there without a home. He said, "Look at what people, who are away from home or don’t have a home, are going through, including the frontline workers of the pandemic. By staying home, we can help flatten the curve." Talking about Vicky and Sunny’s equation, then in the same interview, Vicky had shared that he is learning cooking for his brother. He had said, “I never thought that we’d be in a situation where things come to a standstill. Leave alone a birthday in lockdown, I never even imagined a lockdown before.” He had further revealed that he’s learning a lot of kitchen things from his brother, Sunny. He had said, “I can, at best, whip up an omelette or a bhurji. But Sunny is a good cook, so I assist him.” (Don't Miss: Kareena Kapoor Khan Shares Little Taimur's Joint Creation With Parents, Imprints Of The Good Memory)
