This has further left Sunita extremely upset, as she tried to conceal the matter when the buzz around her divorce surfaced.
Sunita Ahuja reacted after Govinda was spotted with Komal Rani Swarnkar
Recently, Govinda was spotted at the Mumbai airport with his rumoured girlfriend and newcomer actress, Komal Rani Swarnkar. The 62-year-old once famous actor, Govinda was dressed up in a black-hued trousers with matching shirt underneath and mauve-hued tuxedo. On the other hand, Komal wore a yellow-hued maxi dress with brown-hued bag. She left her hair open, and was looking a bit uncomfortable.
The two posed happily for the photographers and Govinda even gave single shots. After giving photos, the two went inside the airport. Sunita, who was later spotted in the city, reacted to Govinda being spotted with his alleged girlfriend, Komal. The paps asked Sunita about Govinda promoting his upcoming film, Roopa, with Komal.
Sunita quickly clarified that promotions happen after the film is complete. They are doing it before the film as what he would say. She taunted Govinda by stating that he was roaming around with a woman who is his daughter's age. She said:
"Picture banna bhi toh chaiye. Promotion hota hai picture banne ke baad. Kya bolneka…Beti ki umar ki ladki ko leke ghum raha hai, sharam toh aana chaiye thodha isko. Aur standard toh hona chaiye. Tumhara sugar daddy itna ameer hai, kapde toh dhang ke pehno. Humlog ko dekho kya style me chalte hai. Very bad, he’s lost his mind."
Earlier, Govinda also addressed Sunita's claims about his alleged affair during an interview with ANI. He questioned her for bad-mouthing him to gain success. He stated that his wife has levied similar claims in the past and he even credited her for taking care of his children while he was busy with work.
Addressing the extramarital affairs, Govinda stated that till the age of 34, he was extremely innocent. Further pointed out that being married does not stop people from being unfaithful to their partners, Govinda was quoted as saying:
"I was so innocent till the age of 34 that even I feel embarrassed myself why I was so innocent. Aap mithai ki dukan mein reh kar aap bhookhe nikle toh kya dukhad hai."
Govinda accepted that men sometimes make reckless choices that they regret, but women are made different, as they can take a firm stand becasuse they love their families. The actor further accepted that he had no idea what was going on in his life between the ages of 21 and 34. Govinda also stated that Sunita affectionaltely hurls abuses at him and he takes it proudly. He said:
"Itne pyaar se gali deti hai mujhe aur main khata bhi hoon unke haath se. I feel that wherever people are and whatever roles the Almighty has assigned them, the specific niche they occupy we wouldn't have achieved success without them being there. We simply wouldn't be who we are. She has a rightful claim over the many children in our family who have now grown up. She was also kind to them."
