However, this time, the interaction has sparked controversy rather than praise. Recently, at her Jaipur show, she was shocked when a fan suddenly got up on stage and was kicked and thrown down by her guards, sparking outrage among netizens.

Sunanda Sharma's shows are mostly houseful and attract enthusiastic, energetic fans, and that was the case during her October 30, 2026 concert as well. The 34-year-old performed at Anand International College of Engineering in Dayarampura, Bassi, Jaipur, on Saturday evening when an unexpected incident took place. A young male fan wearing a white shirt and black trousers suddenly jumped up on the stage.
Sunanda, who was focused on her performance, was startled by someone suddenly appearing in front of her and screamed. Immediately, her bodyguards came and dragged and pushed the man down the stage. It seemed acceptable to netizens up to that point, but what happened next sparked immense backlash. One of the Punjabi artist's guards kicked the fan repeatedly while he was being thrown off stage.
Sunanda, however, kept gesturing to the guards to stop and was heard saying, "It's okay, it's okay," even as the fan was being pushed off the stage. She then quickly walked off the stage amid the chaos. When the guard started kicking the fan, the rest of the audience started shouting to show their dissent at the action. A clip of the incident has since gone viral online, and social media users have echoed similar opinions about the alleged cruelty.
Both the concertgoers as well as the online users strongly condemned the guard's act. One of them wrote, "Galat bat karna kyu." Another one stated, "Ye konsa tarika hai guard ka aram se bhi bol sakte the kon hai hero aur heroine agar inhe ham na puche toh shayed koi kutta bhi na puche inhe bhi sabki ijjat karni chahiye." Many felt that it was extremely disrespectful ans immoral to kick someone, while others blamed the fan for going to such shows and behaving unprofessionally with artists.

Sunanda Sharma began her musical journey by uploading cover songs online, and she released her first single, Billi Akh, in 2015. She became widely known for songs like Jaani Tera Naa, the Gen Z favourite, Mummy Nu Pasand, and Patake, as well as her collaborative party anthem with Badshah, Tere Naal Nachna. Known for her energetic stage presence and soulful vocals, the 33-year-old has recently launched her own independent music label under her name, with Dilbar as its first release.
