A video has been widely circulating on social media, which claims that late filmmaker Sanjay Gupta and his wife, Anuradha Lekhi's 13-year-old daughter, Dalai Gupta behaved inappropriately with the paps. The video shared by a paparazzi page, Buzzzooka Scrolls, showed a girl, whom the page claimed to be the filmmaker's daughter, seated in the passenger seat of a car.
While the car left the funeral site of Sanjay Gupta, paps tried to follow it for some time and take shots of the people inside. At that time, the girl seemingly lost her cool at the paparazzi and flashed her middle fingers at them, while leaning towards the car windows. She was even seen laughing during the interaction, which didn't sit right with the netizens.
The driver was seen trying to make her put the girl's hand down, but she kept making the objectionable gesture until the video ended and the car left the premises. Notably, the identity of the girl in the video cannot be independently confirmed. However, netizens who commented on the post claimed that she did seem like late Sanjay Gupta's kid.

As for Sanjay Gupta's demise, it took place on October 30, 2026, after suffering a fall at his home in Mumbai. The Versova Police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and are looking into the circumstances surrounding his death. The police suspect that Sanjay might have slipped and fallen on the kitchen floor of his Versova home.
