The moment a pregnancy kit shows two lines on it, a girl is filled with a turmoil of emotions. The feeling of happiness, confusion, love, care, warmth and whatnot takes over and before you know anything, the motherly instinct starts to grow over you. Every mother has been through this feeling and they would never want to trade this feeling with anything in the world. From that very moment, the most important person for soon-to-be parents is the baby in the mommy’s tummy. They just wait for the day, they will be able to see their mini version. Though the time period of 9 months seems long, for the couple entering the parenthood, the time passes with the blink of an eye. Television couple, Sumeet Vyas and Ekta Kaul are feeling a surge of emotions as their baby may arrive anytime soon. Sumeet Vyas had tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend, Ekta Kaul on September 15, 2018, and the couple is ready to welcome their first child as announced by the soon-to-be parents on April 5, 2020. Ekta had announced about the news of entering the mommy phase in her life by posting a cute picture with her husband, captioning it as "Proudly announcing our new project together. Introducing Jr. KaulVyas (soon) Created, Directed and Produced by US.... @sumeetvyas and I." Ever since then, it feels like personal happiness to us and all their fans.
Recently, in an interview with SpotboyE, when the soon-to-be daddy, Sumeet Vyas was asked about the arrival of their little bundle of love as earlier he had told that the baby is expected in the month of June. Sumeet promptly replied, “Anytime now, actually. This is her ninth month, it could be the end of this month, or first or 2nd week of the next month or it just could be tomorrow. We are ready!”
When Sumeet was asked about Ekta’s pregnancy journey as most of the journey she had to live under lockdown only, he said, “She’s doing okay. She’s very well organised and has everything planned out. Like bachche ke kapde, first month me jo cheezein lagengi, she way ahead.” Talking about if the couple has decided on any baby name yet, he said, “No! We once have thought of the names. But then we thought let’s just have the baby first. Sumeet was also asked about his excitement and if he enjoyed the soon-to-be parent phase, he said, “Sometimes there are bouts where I feel little scared about how my life is completely gonna change from here on. Then there’s also a part of me who’s very happy because I always wanted to be a dad. Irrespective of the gender, we hope just the baby is safe. By the baby gets 1 or 2, things will be under control and we will be able to go out and take the baby to the park and do all those things that we plan to do.”
As the entire nation is under the lockdown and nobody can step out or meet people, the soon-to-be parents, Ekta and Sumeet had to resort to virtual godbharai ceremony. On May 9, 2020, Ekta had taken to her Facebook page to share how the actress had her godbharai ceremony over a video call! She had written, "And then the god bharai happened on a video call. When I gave up the hope to have one, they coordinated secretly and video called me. Blessed to have Kaul parivar and MY friends around me #chotikhushiyan don't miss Viru clapping when I told him I am cutting a cake." Ekta had also shared a beautiful black-and-white picture of herself and husband, Sumeet, holding her chunari. This has to be one of the best memories any mother could ever experience.
