It was since the year 2017 that The Kapil Sharma Show fame Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale were rumoured to be dating. While she is known to perfectly portray legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar, he is known to ace the portrayal of Sanjay Dutt. These two comedians set the stage on fire together and their fans were eagerly waiting for them to accept their relationship in public. And now, that the couple has come out in public, they have announced the news of their engagement.

Yes, Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale have finally accepted their relationship in the most beautiful manner possible. After calling each other friends and maintaining the ‘good friends’ stance for years, the couple is ready to start their happily-ever-after journey super soon. Well, they have proved that there is no smoke without fire and their friends, fans and industry mates are super delighted.
Taking to their respective IG handles, Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale shared dreamy pictures with each other to announce the biggest news of their lives. Sharing pictures with each other, they announced the news of exchanging rings. While Sugandha looked like a princess in a mauve shade gown, Sanket looked no less than a prince in a black suit. The happiness and love was quite evident on their faces as they are all set to start their new life together. While Sugandha captioned her picture with a ring emoticon followed by "Forever @drrrsanket,” Sanket also added a ring emoticon and wrote, “Found my SunShine @sugandhamishra23.” Their official photographer, Wedding Krafter also shared a picture of the couple and wrote, ““Two talented souls coming together” Sanket + Sugandha, Mumbai, April 2021”
Earlier in a 2020 interview with The Times Of India, Sugandha had talked about her equation with the man of her life, Sanket Bhosale. She had shared that the two are only good friends and she is only working it out. She had said, “We are very good friends, and woh jo Maine Pyar Kiya ka dialogue hai na ki dosti ki hai, nibhani padegi. Toh dosti nibha rahe hain. Our chemistry is really nice in terms of work as well. And main aur kuchh nahi keh sakti."

In another interview, Sanket Bhosale had opened up on his wedding plans as he was seen with mehendi on his hands. He had shared that as and when he will find his perfect match, he will share about it with the world. Quoting Shah Rukh Khan’s statement, he had said, "Yeh toh SRK ji ne kaha hai ki jodiyan upar se banke aati hain. So you will have to wait for that and once that happens, I will definitely tell you. Mujhe lagta hai sabko ek saath bahut pyaar, mohabbat se rehna chahiye aur sab achhe dost banke rahe, pyaar se rahe. Bas yahi kehna chahunga."
Sanket and Sugandha have worked together in a TV show, Gangs of Filmistan and in the same conversation he had subtly referred to the Comedienne, talking about his mehendi. He had said, "Let me tell you all, ek haath pe mehendi lagayi hai aur ek pe haldi. I have rehearsed for both on the show, so hopefully, will take the final take soon. Aapko iss mehendi ki 'sugandh' toh aa gayi hogi."
In another interview with The Times Of India, Sugandha had said, “I am getting calls from my friends and family from all over the world to ask me about this. My mom doesn't stay with me and she called me up to clarify the same. She knows Sanket and was shocked to hear that I have decided to get married without even informing her. But everything is cool at home now. I made her understand that this is a false news and we had a great laugh over it.”
