Kevin Sussman is married to Addie Hall in real life
Kevin Sussman, who plays 'Stuart Bloom' and is seen as awkward-in-love with Lauren Lapkus as 'Denise' in the TV series, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, has been married to Addie Hall since April 2023. The duo exchanged rings in March 2022 and tied the knot the following year in April 2023. Taking to his Instagram handle on March 28, 2022, Kevin shared a snap of him and Addie and wrote, "Folks, she said yes!" In the snap, Addie kept her hand over Kevin’s shoulders and proudly flaunted her engagement ring. Later on April 21, 2023, Kevin shared his wedding snap and quipped:
"Did I mention I got married this weekend?"
Lauren Lapkus is happily married to actor Mike Castle
The TV series shows Lauren and Kevin bond over their shared love of comics while working together at his store. In real life, Lauren met the man of her dreams, Mike Castle, for the first time while working together. Sharing a glimpse into their love story, in April 2020, Mike told People that before working with Lauren, he did research through which he learned that both of them hailed from Illinois. They share two children. In his words:
"Before I ever start a job with anybody, I always do a slightly unnecessary amount of research on them. With Lauren, I listened to her podcast and I always thought she was funny and everything, but I remember when I heard the podcast I was just enamored. I couldn’t believe how funny she is."

Alongside Kevin and Lauren, the series also shows Brian Posehn, John Ross Bowie, Josh Brener, and Tommy Walker. In real life, Brian is a married man. According to reports, Brian met his wife, Melanie Truhett-Posehn, at his manager’s office where she worked as an assistant. They began dating in 1988 and later got married and welcomed a son. However, they largely stayed out of the limelight. In September 2024, Brian shared a love-filled message for Melanie on the occasion of their marriage anniversary. He wrote:
"Happy Anniversary to the best thing to ever happen to me. My dream girl, partner for life, best pal. I love you so damn much, @melanietruhett, twenty years of marriage zipped by, a hundred more please."
John Ross Bowie, who has returned as antagonist 'Barry Kripke', met his now-wife, Jamie Denbo, in the 1990s while they were performing improv comedy together at New York City's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In a 2019 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Bowie and Denbo described themselves as a middle-class couple and feel they are equals in their careers. They tied the knot on June 5, 2004, and later had two children.
Josh Brener, who is one of the cast members, is married to comedian and actress Meghan Falcone in real life. They tied the knot in 2018 after meeting through the Upright Citizens Brigade theatre group. In an April 2015 interview, Josh said, "Meghan’s everything, she’s the best. She’s so cool, and she’s funny, and she’s pretty, and she’s neat, and she makes good food." Tommy is a newcomer in the Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. In real life, Tommy is married to actress Julia Dennis Walker.
