Sreejita De and her husband, Michael Blohm-Pape are on the seventh heaven, as they are enjoying every moment of their newly-married bliss. The duo got married in a Christian white wedding in Germany on July 1, 2023. They even had a court wedding prior to it on June 30, 2023. Pictures and glimpses from their fairy-tale-like dreamy ceremony have already made rounds on the internet, and their fans cannot stop from going gaga over them. And now, Sreejita recalled some special anecdotes from her wedding day.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Sreejita De opened up about her magical white wedding in Germany with her husband, Michael Blohm-Pape. She mentioned that it was a totally dreamy and romantic event, much to her liking. Sreejita further added how she and her husband were totally nervous and anxious before their wedding day, and were continuously pacified by their families to relax. Nevertheless, she could fully enjoy only on her marriage day, and was able to feel the butterflies in her stomach right before she walked down the aisle. In her words:
"We were stressed and we both were all over the place. Our family was continuously saying just relax, it is your wedding, but it was not possible there were so many thoughts about the arrangements. We couldn’t relax much. I started feeling the excitement 2-3 days ahead of the wedding, the legal wedding day. June 30th, since morning I started feeling butterflies in my stomach.”

Moving further in the interview, Sreejita spoke about a special moment during her wedding. She mentioned how her husband, Michael wrote the wedding vows himself, and was quite nervous and emotional at the time of its recital. She added how she could feel his voice shaking and tears swelling up in her eyes. Sreejita mentioned:
“He wrote the vows for me and he stood up saying the vows and I could feel that his voice started shaking and he had tears in his eyes. That was a very intimate and close moment. I still absolutely remember everything that he said line to line.”
In yet another segment of the interview, Sreejita recalled her magical court wedding with Michael in Germany. She spoke about the specific moment when she signed her name and added her husband’s surname to it as well. Calling it a totally surreal moment, she highlighted how she spotted Michael getting a bit teary-eyed at the time.

On July 16, 2023, Sreejita De rang in her 33rd birthday. This was her first birthday post-marriage, and the actress decided to skip luxurious celebrations. Instead, she opted to have a homely affair with her husband, Michael and their fur babies. Elaborating more on her choice of a low-key birthday, Sreejita mentioned:
“I just wanted to cherish moments with him and our beloved dogs without any grand gestures or special activities.”
