Popular television actress, Sreejita De is on cloud nine at the moment, as she is days away from starting a new chapter in her life. For the unversed, Sreejita is all set to tie the knot with her long-time beau, Michael Blohm-Pape on June 30, 2023 in a stunning Christian white wedding in Germany. While the wedding preparations had already begun in full-swing, a few days back, Sreejita and Michael along with their families were spotted jetting out for Germany. And now, in her recent interview, Sreejita makes some startling revelations about not inviting a certain someone for her wedding.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Sreejita opened up on her guest list for the wedding. She revealed that she had initially decided to invite a few of her friends, who were a part Bigg Boss 16, along with her to the wedding. However, she mentioned that most of them had backed-out owing to professional commitments. Nevertheless, when she was asked about the presence of her friend-turned-foe, Tina Datta at her wedding festivities, she bluntly responded that she has certainly not invited someone who is non-existent on her friend list. Moreover, she also revealed that she has lost contact with both Tina and her mom, and so there is no point in inviting them. In her words:
“Before Bigg Boss 16, I had decided not to cross paths or befriend a person with whom my energy doesn’t match. However, Tina and I met again on the reality show. I don’t harbour any ill-feelings towards her but there is no question of inviting someone non-existent in my friend list. Aunty ke saath bhi baat nahi hui na meri na meri mom ki. Though I love and respect her, I think she felt offended for certain reasons. Jab baatcheet hi band hai then it makes no sense to invite them.”

According to an earlier report by ETimes, Sreejita and her beau, Michael will be having two different weddings. While the first will be a white Christian wedding in Germany, the second one will be a traditional Bengali wedding in Goa. Further, Sreejita too had revealed details about the same and had expressed her immense happiness and excitement on the same. Moreover, back then, she had also revealed that she was yet to zero down on her final wedding attire.
After having a Christian wedding in Germany, Sreejita and Michael will fly down to Goa for their traditional Bengali wedding, which pays tribute to the actress’ hereditary roots. Spilling the beans on the same, Sreejita had revealed that their Indian wedding will take place in the presence of their family and friends. In her words:
“Once, I am back from the wedding in Germany, then we will do a Pashchim Bengal-styled wedding after a Reception party on the 17th. The Christian wedding is on the 30th."

Much like every girl’s dreams, Sreejita too got a magical proposal from her beau, Michael, that too right in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. In one of her earlier interviews with the Hindustan Times, Sreejita had revealed how the proposal was sudden and unexpected, and shared how her beau actually went down on his knee for the same.
