Spider-Noir is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. It features Nicolas Cage in the lead. The show is set in the 1930s, where a private investigator and superhero, who is struggling with his past, is forced to return to action due to unexpected circumstances. The series was released around seven years after it entered development. It is also the fifth Marvel Studios project in the filmography of Nicolas Cage.
Although the show has not ended on a cliffhanger, fans are currently expecting a second season. While an official announcement is awaited, keep reading to know what happens at the end of the new series!

‘Flint’, ‘Dirk’, and ‘Lonnie’ fight with ‘Ben’ in the final battle, which was planned by ‘Slivermane.’ In between the fight, ‘Slivermane’ finds the real identity of ‘Ben’. He eventually threatens ‘Cat’, attempting to force ‘Ben’ to show his face to everyone. ‘Cat’ then follows ‘Slivermane’ towards a funhouse with mirrors. ‘Slivermane’ tells ‘Cat’ that he has killed many people for all these years, and one of them was Thomas, ‘Cat’s’ former lover. ‘Cat’ then shoots ‘Slivermane,’ bringing an end to his reign over the city.

On the other hand, ‘Sandman’ changes himself, and ‘Megawatt’ manages to take some power on the street. The superhero tries to bring things under control by speaking to ‘Megawatt,’ who attacks him, followed by ‘Sandman.’ The duo manages to take down ‘Ben,’ whose face is almost revealed. ‘Cat’ intervenes and takes ‘Megawatt’ at gunpoint, until she realises that she does not have any bullets left. ‘Cat’ is then taken down by ‘Megawatt,’ leading to a fight with ‘Sandman.’ ‘Megawatt’ turns ‘Sandman’ into glass, and ‘Ben’ takes the opportunity to get ‘Megawatt’ webbed. ‘Megawatt’ then dies after being thrown towards a train by ‘Ben.’

‘Ben’ is introduced in Spider-Noir as someone who used to be a superhero. However, he let go of his responsibilities when he lost his main squeeze, ‘Ruby.’ ‘Ben’ believed that he could not handle his duties as a superhero. But things changed towards the end of the show, where he was back in his main form. ‘Ben’s’ identity was found by ‘Cat.’ He was also betrayed by ‘Cat’, who wanted to save ‘Flint.’

An experiment is done on ‘Ben’, where he almost dies. This was aimed at finding a cure linked to his mutation. Despite all these, ‘Ben’ decided to help ‘Flint’ and confront ‘Dirk.’ ‘Cat’ eventually apologised to ‘Ben’ and accompanied ‘Flint’ outside New York City. Although ‘Ben’ was all alone, he accepted his identity and was joined by his former assistant, ‘Janet,’ who became his investigative partner as they established Reilly and Ruiz Investigations to help people. ‘Mayor Morris’ wins the election, and ‘Robbie’ starts operating a newspaper.

‘Flint,’ ‘Dirk,’ and 'Lonnie' served in the First World War. Notably, ‘Dr. Faber’ had experimented on the trio, which gave them powers. But the powers were not in their control at one point, and it was slowly taking them towards their death. On the other hand, ‘Ben’s’ condition was stable after being bitten by the ‘Man-Spider.’
‘Dr. Faber’ was able to make four vials of an antidote with ‘Ben’s’ blood. Two of them were to help ‘Lonnie/Tombstone’. However, only one vial was left after the third was destroyed in the last battle. As mentioned, ‘Cat’ wanted to save ‘Flint,’ and ‘Ben’ gave her the antidote despite knowing the truth about her feelings. Although he hands over the antidote, ‘Ben’ does not forgive ‘Cat’, who admits to him that her feelings were real.
